No, he's correct, it is bugged. I was helping my brother do his 1.5 epic (shaman) and one of the steps requires the completion of the trial of torture. He was never ported in no matter the distance from the tribunal, he can be sitting right on top of him and he isn't ported in. After he starts the trial and I'm ported in, he becomes bugged and has to do /rewind before he can even click a portal to exit the tribunal area. I can get in everytime no problem, he can't. We have bugged it in game and it seems other people are having the same issue.

This is exact issue is happening to my brother and me. He has to complete the Trial of Torture as part of his 1.5 epic for his shaman. When either of us say the phrase to start the trial, only I am ported into the trial. He actually becomes a little bugged as he cannot use the portals to leave the tribunal area after trying to start the trial, he has to do the /rewind command to even leave the area. He thought his pet was causing the issue but he's tried without his pet and still the same. He's zoned out, restarted his pc, tried with just himself in the tribunal area, nothing is working for him. He opened a petition and the gm suggested he check his internet connection and router, a very odd suggestion as he is playing the game in all areas (except the Trial of Torture) just fine. I guess it's good to know we're not the only people having issues with the PoJ trials.

My most memorable, and at the same time most hated item was the [url=http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/....html?item=7673]Coterie Mask of the Dead[/url]. The nerfing of that mask actually made me quit EQ (for quite some time actually).

My brother and I just came back after a 3 year absence. I'm a 58 DE cleric and he's a 58 DE shadowknight (both on seventh hammer). We're both geared in low end PoP era gear (some first tier PoP armor). We've been taking it slow and easy so far trying to get our bearings with all the new content. We haven't grouped any yet as we're still trying to get back in the swing of things (would hate to wipe a group when trying to build up a good rep).

We tooled around in Goru'kar Mesa a couple of days ago, found some dark blue snakes and such and figured we'd give them a try. We really found out how under geared we are. Took forever to kill a snake so we decided to go back a few expansions. We just got our key for howling stones done yesterday evening (didn't go there as it was late and I had to work). Just curious if howling stones will give good exp for us? I remember back in the day it was considered one of the prime exp spots but I'm sure there are quite a few spots that are better, it's just that we don't know of any since we've been away for so long.

I guess my question is three-fold. Is howling stones a viable option for two level 58's (exp wise)? If not, where are some other zones that we could do well and get us back in the groove so we could group in PoP (if people are still exp'ing there)? Also, are there any quests that we could duo for armor / weapon upgrades that could make a difference in the newer zones? Thanks and it's good to be back.
