I wish people would stop making posts like these. Do realize he isnt obligated to post anything - the very first panel of devs (03.) didnt say a word about the update until... yeah the update day. Be happy with what we got Dae is working pretty hard probably and while he doesnt keep up up to date on whats going as much as the last lead developer did hes better at it than tom was.

Back in 03, the game was new and not on the verge of having the servers shut down. Right now, update information would be nice, otherwise were all in the dark with the assumption of anything being possible (including the servers coming to an end). I, myself, trust dae will lead us into at least another year of eqoa. But again as I stated, update information would be, more or less, a relief.

it's just nice to have them say whether or not their will be an update. Last 1 or 2 months I've been waiting for some kinda talk as well and the months have just gone by instead. Even a, " hey guys I haven't been able to work on updates because of such and such" would be fine. Just something so we know what's going on like Lear said. Without any word, for all we know servers could shut down and it's like what's going on no one said anything about that? Why? because exactly that, no one is saying whether or not that could be true or not. In the same respect what if all toons were on clw all the sudden? No way to prepare for it because nothing's been said. What if Mar suddenly stopped by zp to look around and was caught killing vamps? No way to know, nothing's been said. What if SK's could nuke like wizzies and alcs could melee like rge's all the sudden? No way to know what happened because nothing's been said. Whether we're getting an update or not, it's just nice to see a red name letting us know some news, bad or good. News is News.

That and we got minor updates more then twice a month even, and major updates got previewed on the main site which is barely even used anymore.

Its impossible to compare what happened back in 03 to now, we were getting updates almost weekly, and if you count fixes/patches then it was more than weekly.

i agree with what beowolf said, u cant compair now to back then, but it would be nice if the devs would finish up all the half finished quests and events this summer and tie it all together into a new event for this year so the game actualy makes sence ya know

we are repetedly told that with the next update marks a new schedual start to the update calender and we will be seeing more and more updates at a faster pace as soon as we update our calenders so that all the devs are on the same page we have been told this every update for the last 2 years, look back at alot of deamaas's posts and you will see it allmost every time but the updates dont seem to be geting faster at all lol am i the only one who notices this kinda stuff lol
