Join SOE at Bally’s Las Vegas for four days of revelry and celebration at Fan Faire 2009. This year marks the 10th anniversary of EverQuest, and SOE will celebrate this incredible milestone with its loyal fans June 25-28.

For $89 (plus any applicable taxes), attendees will receive an All-Access pass to an expanded Fan Faire weekend that includes:

  • Sneak peeks at new games in development
  • Special guest appearances
  • A chance to purchase EverQuestThe 10th Anniversary Collector's Edition
  • Book signing session with master artist Donato Giancola
  • Developer forums
  • In-game tournaments
  • Activities such as live quests tied to SOE’s current games lineup
  • Live, playable demos of upcoming SOE titles
  • Gifts and in-game items

Attendees also will hear about exciting new announcements from SOE President John Smedley during the Annual Community Address, meet and mingle at the Kickoff Reception, feast at the Grand Banquet, show off their creativity at the Costume Contest and enjoy the good times at the EverQuest 10th Anniversary Bash!*

Those who pre-register 10 or more guild mates online will receive 50% off an All-Access pass. (Offer does not apply toward walk-in or day-pass registrants.)

If you can't make it for the entire weekend, day passes are available for $39 (plus any applicable taxes), and you'll still be able to participate in the daytime activities, such as forums, roundtables, live quests and tournaments.

*Attendees must be 21 years or older with valid identification to attend certain evening events.

I would have to think there would be a booth due to the fact it is pc EQ 10 year anniversery so they will try to hype all Eq franchise's you would think. But Who  knows......

Quick question to you Amnerys.....What is a quest entitled to with a full access registered person? I notice when registering

It has if you are bringing a guest. Well I will be going with my wife but she is not into the game nearly as much as me. So was wondering what all she would have access to with out me having to spend the 2nd registration fee.

Well hopefully I hear back from you.

Reason I am asking is due to the no confirmation on an actual EQOA set up hate to spend the money for nothing.

I cannot attend.SMILEY

Its not the date or the like.  I figured it out and for two people, the airfare alone comes to $950.  Just too much.  If there were some discounted airfare I would consider, but the lowest is $950.  If the Fanfare were closer, say Chicago or St. Louis I could swing it, but Las Vegas is too expensive for some on the East Coast to swing.

Please, if you can find some way for the East Coasters to get to a fanfair cuz I know there are a lot!

Sorry SOE but you won't see me this year.  SMILEY

Any one ever attend Fan Faire and bring a guest but not pay the fee for 2nd person just take them as a guest. Still no answer to my Pm so just wondering what they are/or have access to as a guest not a registered attendee...if that makes sense.

Cause as you register it ask's you if you are bringing a guest and ask's there info.

And Rallie I cant believe you cannot find cheaper airfare try a travel agent or a site like priceline.com.....with the economy how it is most airlines are cutting rates.

But I am only 3 hours away driving so never really looked up flights. Well hope to see some ppl there but if I do not get an answer soon about guest access I will not be going probably. But who knows.

Well it would be cool if someone answered my question. I pm'd Amer's twice and posted 3 times on original post of Fan Faire.

So i will try one more time here.

What is a non-registered guest entitiled to if going with a registered person?

My wife is not to into the game and if I can save the 89 dollars for the slots that would be cool lol.

I know when pre-registering it ask's if you are bringing a quest and ask for info. So what does that get them.

I am planning on going thursday til sunday.

Well Hopefully this one see's a reply.

So I can decide if it is worth going to Fan Faire or not. Or just going to vegas and using the 180 towards making money lol.

Well Still looking for an answer to this.

Guess I will ask the players. anyone ever take a quest who was not registered to a fan faire function?

Well hopefully I hear something while I still got the money to pre-register and actually start thinking about if I really can afford to spend it and then talk myself out of it lol.

Starting to lean on not going to fan faire and just hitting vegas that weekend and seeing what all I can get into with out registering. I mean is there gonna really be siloth guards on all the doors lol. Or Blood thirsty minions roaming the halls?

So we will see if I ever get a answer then I can decide on what I am doing.

A lot of questions can be found here.

My spouse and I both play SOE games. Should we list one of us as a guest?
No. A guest is someone that does not play or have a subscription to any of the SOE online games. Each player should register individually to get his or her personalized Player Passport.

My spouse does not play SOE games but wants to come with me. What is the fee for someone that does not play?
The fee is the same for players and non-players. Just list them as your guest on the registration form.

What do I get for my registration fee?
With the All-Access Pass, you'll get a Fan Faire T-shirt, a special Fan Faire in-game item for your primary game, and have unlimited access to a whole weekend of fun! You are eligible for selection to participate in the costume contest, forums, gaming roundtables, a welcome reception, grand banquet, game-specific live events and any other special day time or evening events. Please note that you must be 21 or older, with valid identification, to attend certain evening events. Day Pass - your day pass will entitle you to one (1) Fan Faire T-shirt, access to all forums and roundtables scheduled for that day, plus eligibility for selection to participate in any live events taking place that day. Your pass will expire at 6PM and is not good for access to any of the evening events.

The guest needs to pay the registration fee in order to get into any of the Fan Faire areas as the guest would need to have their own passport.
