Didn't watch this episode until just now. It definitely looks egyption god-like.
I'm mixed about Sawyer and Juliet together. I honestly think I'd prefer Sawyer/Kate and Jack/Juliet, but I'm not sold on that idea either.
So, I'm assuming when the O6 re-crashed, they flashed and went back to 1977 with the rest of them, but the regular people who weren't O6 on the plane crashed in 2008. Which means Ben and Locke are in 2008 while the O6 are in 1977. And we're still missing Sayid and Sun, which means they could either be in 1977 or 2008, but I don't see why they wouldn't have gone back to 1977 with the others.
Also, at the beginning of the series, we saw Faraday back in time whenever they were building the Swan Station. At the time, back before any of the time traveling was explained, I thought he could time travel like Desmond and Ms. Hawking did, but I'm guessing that took place between 1975 and 1977, the 3 years he and the rest of them were living with the Dharma people.
I'm just wondering how they're going to get out of this time shift and get back into real time, and I'm really wondering what the purpose of this is and how this is going to effect everything else! Basically, I'm excited!

Well i think the woman who get the little boat with the pilot (lapidius) can be Sun, so maybe not only Ben and Locke are in 2008 time.... but maybe more.....
Hm, so Sun was the woman Frank left with in the boat. But the question still remains why she wasn't taken back to 1977 with the others.
Also, what happened to Faraday? We saw him in the first episode of the season with Dharma gear on but he hasn't been seen since we jumped to 1977 and then Sawyer said he was gone or something like that, I don't remember exactly.
It should be interesting what effect everyone will have on Ben. Or maybe the other way around!

I got a theory about why she was not in 1977 with the others, and i think is about the same reason locke will be in the present time with her.
Lock got some stuff from someone still on the island (the cristhian shoes), and Sun too (the ring of his husband)
About Faraday's i don't know
I kind of thought maybe Sun didn't go back because she didn't have her child with her.
This was a good episode, and I'm definitely looking forward to learning more about the Dharma Initiative.
First of all, OMGWTF JUST HAPPENED?
My mom actually came up with a theory that the reason Ben didn't go back with the others was because he was on the island at the time they went back to. If that's true, then maybe Sun is there somewhere on the island in 1977, too. It's just a theory, though.
I'm really excited to see what's going to happen. In all likelihood, Ben didn't die when Sayid shot him, but now I'm all excited to see what would happen if this is a real change in the timeline!
@_@
Heh, Locke's gone a bit funny.
Can't wait for next week. Jacob answers, the Swan Incident, details on the new mystery group ('what lies in the shadow of the statue?'... It's gonna be epic.
No.. Just... No....
Right when you think it would be finaly the last and everything is all said and done, they use the end with what appears to be the bomb going off and a whiteout to say "LOST", with a comercial saying, 2010 for the Series Conclusion(Final) Season, but a bunch of stuff was answered. And I let one heck of a laugh when Locke's body was rolled out of that box. Wont say much of anything else tho except it was a rollercoaster from start to end, and it seems the last loop has yet to be seen. <_<
So it's really tending towards a deterministic / preordained timeline :X
Just saw the season finale on Sunday and must say was easily the best series of television I have seen in a long time.
Gotta say I feel a bit dopey that I never noticed Hurley and the guitar case during most of it till I saw it in the main series finale where it finally clicked could have been Charlies guitar.
Shame this thread won't see the end of the LOST series
For what it's worth, I enjoyed the fifth season. It was good at progressing the story and changing how the show flowed and yet still keeping that LOST feel, ethos, character drama and rejuvtinating the love triangle, square, whatever it is now. The finale was class, Season 6 will be truely sad when it is finally over.
