I started playing MXO at launch but left about two months afterwards. I loved the game, but I couldn't get over the glitchiness. I found my old disks a few days ago, and was surprised to find that SOE now runs the gme instead of Monolith. Even more surprising, my Station Access covers the game. So I reinstalled it and rolled a new operative on Server Syntax. But after two hours of playing, I hadn't come across a single other player. Should I be on a different server, or is the community just that small now?

It'd be the time you logged on, probably caught the lowest point in the day. Syntax is in fact the highest populated server with Recursion hot on it's heels. Vector doesn't have as many but that's mainly down to it being the hostile server.
You'll find most people early evening US time(s) and late evening GMT usually around The PvP hotspot (Mara Central) which is the same on all servers or The RP hotspots: Tabor West (Syntax) or Camon Central (Recursion). Obviously on Vector you won't see too many people standing around, but I hear that there is still RP there.

You can usually phind me late nights from the U.S. on Syntax.... but Vin's right.. early to late evening is the best time to phind the majority, and around those hard lines.
