I've played the game for a few hours today, and got to level 7. So far I feel that the combat is very limited, and slow. Would have loved to see a more dynamic combat system, where you could fight multiple oponents, control more of the combat moves and set up combos.
Right now it feels like a slightly more advanced slot machine, except I don't get any money ^^ Just pull the lever, push a few buttons and see what happens.
Does this change at higher levels?

Nope stays the same, back in CR1 we used to be able to multi fight, but it was removed when they released CR2.

Zeth, the combat is better and more fun when your a higher level. I don't support multi-fighting in interlock, hope things get better for you and don't give up on us yet.

It does become more dynamic, Currently you have very little at level 7, probably only the basic 2 Awakened attacks and a few in Operative ect.
As you progress in MA for example you'll learn that certain attacks should be used before others to get an advantage on your opponent. For example it's regularly Sky High sidekick used before another attack is used because it lowers your opponents resistance to attack allowing for a damage increase on your next 2 attacks. Useful especially if you can set that up before high damage specials as it gives an extra 200 damage usually.
Also as you progress and you begin to fight against other players, teamwork will come into play on many servers.

Still won't get any money, just info ^^
Thanks for the replies. Been having some trouble with my computer (Blue screens...), so that put me into a bad mood... But might have solved it now. Will keep playing and I probably won't mind the combat system too much when I'm in a better mood ^^
Just created a new character on Recursion (got alot of crashes previously in character creation, so needed to test my changes ^^), and played alittle. Was abit better when I didn't crash

Stay on Recursion better server
as for combat it does get more advanced MA has some cracking combos and is really fun to use at level 50. Same with guns.
