So finally, I've gotten everything except the exec shell that's needed to get my Blood Noble shirt. I finally found the white hallway and the correct door that leads you into the that T-shaped room with the 4 55's. Where I got quickly pwned. I was expecting an Elite Commando-type layout where you have a standard white room layout where you can hang in a corner and lure them out one by one. That didn't seem to work here...used sneak to stay as far back in one of the halls and the second I went at it with the 55 the other 3 55's came a runnin'.
After that is the Death Room right? Should I just go right there and sneak into the back room and do my luring that way? Just curious....I'm pretty much done with all of 12.1 and trying to wrap this all up and this is the last thing I need to do.
As you said, there doesn't seem to be a way to get one alone in this setup without the others noticing shortly afterward. They aren't particularly great fighters but with all of them attacking at once, it is a little rough to say the least so I'd love to hear some tips on this as well.
The way I did it was with 3 others and a Sim (though it could likely be done with less if you had MAs or gunners who were good at keeping heat off the healer). I was running patcher and basically got interlocked on purpose since these guys are less dangerous in IL than outside of it due to the loss of Logic Cannon 2. Once in IL, I used area heals continuously while the others did the real work by killing the enemies that were not in IL with me. This worked perfectly until we got sloppy and I ate a couple of unlucky LC2's in a row.

Hmm afraid you'd say that What about crossing my fingers, sneaking to the Main Room, sneaking to the back room, and luring them one by one to their deaths? I'd like to exaust all of my solo possibilities before I make it into a big production, if possible.
You won't be able to solo it Villemar.Every time you try and seperate one,the others follow!I tried and failed...

There is no soloing this, unless you have a magical stash of Terminator Bits somewhere.

Hmm.. not sure exactly what rooms you're speaking of here. If you're talking about the boss's construct (the office building like space after you've cleared the white halls), then yes, the 55s there are definitely separatable and soloable... actually, they're much easier than any other 55s I've tried to solo. Problem is, those 55s don't drop the Shells. Only the 55s in the actual white hall t-shaped/cross shaped room do.

Thanks Bruce, thanks Tony. Actually I'd like to get three shells and I'm good. If they can only be gotten in the T-shaped room, then we can get them there, and if help is needed in the Death Floor after that, I'm down.
I think a lot of ppl will be needing the shells just to simply get the top 12.1 clothing drop, aside from the full-on mask. Not to mention the 10 needed for the skullcap needed for those who want the header.
Plan B: WTB 3 override shells on Vector
I've, uh... tried hinting at it subtley, but I don't think anyone's caught it yet, so I'll go ahead and spell it out.
Here is a small guide/explanation I've put together to help people get Shells/Kernels.

And a hearty thank you for that Kind Sir. My question is, do the 55's in the main room drop shells also? Or exclusively in the previous T-shaped hallway? Shinryu says its the latter, just seeking clarification. Also, in your exceptional guide, you list 2 lvl 55's in the T-halls, but there were 4 when I finally got there :O
