In One thread all i did was Bump a friends post to the top of the page in the Market forums of syntax and got a Warning for Bumping his thread....

So please feel free to Discuss your Views/opinions.

I mean this is better then spamming Raijinns Pm Box, Lets try to keep it Civilized.

Your message is Bound to be edited for Profanity or They will remove the Quote.

I really wouldnt mind so much if they didnt pick the people who hold mass grudges against players ingame and use the forums as a power trip.

it wouldnt be so bad with Just 2 Mods Jurymen and Another.

yes raijinn, please take notice of this because its getting ridiculous.

You have moderators trolling recruitment threads and sales threads, and posting in what feels like virtually almost every new thread created to delete someone's post and/or threaten to lock the thread for the most trivial of reason. If this was any other SOE game your players would have already boycotted the forums in favor of private run uncensored forums because they're growing tired of the over moderation just like what happened on planetside when aftiel set up markovforums.com which shortly after emerald and werner did likewise. You either need to reduce the number of mods, or put a leash on them so they'll stop pouncing at the most minor of TOS violation such as something as trivial as someone saying "bump" in a recruitment or sales forum, because your mods are killing what there is left for enjoyment in participating in the community here on these forums.

In all honesty, you should have got a warning. You were bumping a thread. Which is in the same boat with thread necroing. It's not allowed. If you want to move your friends post to the top of the list post something like "Is this *item* still available, or has some one bought it?"

That way you wouldnt just be bumping a thread and you can move it to the top of the list.

The Moderators are following and enforcing the rules to the forums and Eula. And we accepted to terms of agreements. You accepted all the rules, and now they are enforcing them. It's a simple as that. In my opinion, anyways...

The thread was 5-6 from the top to count as a Necro it has to be a fair amount of days old and pretty much off the page.

MXO, the only game where the playerbase is smaller than the amount of mods, devs and admins summed up.

a necro has to be 30 days old...

a bump to the top is a bump to the top no matter what you post. Saying "still available" is the same as saying "bump", because your posting to get the thread to the top, simple as that, and to look at it any differently is to simply argue semantics for the sake of arguing semantics, which is pretty much why this thread exists, because thats what our moderators are doing, locking, deleting posts/threads for the most trivial of crap.

The MODS are just doing their jobs, to keep this place a good, enjoyable, node where everyone can come and share there thoughts without fear of being attacked personally and harrassed. We are lucky to have people give their free time and efforts to make this game a pleasent place to be.

They are doing a wonderfull job, much kudos to them. There is always this thread you could address your concerns to. SMILEY

If you don't like the way the MOD's deal with these forums you are always welcome to not post or not give them reason to edit your posts.

Why should i pay for a game and not have the same priviledges as Everyone else.

And the Mods are just forum trolls removing/locking all these posts some of which arent even spam or flamebait.

  • Attacks or insults others on the board. Feel free to debate the idea, but do not turn your disagreement into an attack upon the poster.

  • Engages in name-calling, harassment, or threats. See above.
  • Contains obscenity, vulgarity, or profanity. Though we do have a filter in place to catch the unintentional obscenity from time to time, this is not a license to abuse it.
  • Disparages any religion, race, nation, gender, or sexual orientation.
  • Is considered inappropriate for children 13 or younger as governed by general standards of decency in the United States.
  • Infringes on anyone's privacy rights.

Furthermore, you may not...

  • Make multiple posts on the same subject for the purpose of getting attention paid to your issue. Post off-topic comments in threads for the purpose of drawing attention to another thread on a different subject.
  • "Bump" or "/sign" threads.
  • Monopolize the front page of any forum by "bumping" threads of the same or similar content to the front. We may intervene by closing threads any time that this occurs.
  • Use the official forums as a staging-ground for creating general unrest within the game (e.g. Sit-ins).
  • Use the official forums as a place to advertise the sale of The Matrix Online characters or accounts in exchange for real-world money.
  • Advertise web-sites with content that violates these rules, The Matrix Online Software and User License Agreement, or the Station Terms of Service.
  • Advertise products or websites that are not related to The Matrix Online or other Sony Online Entertainment products.

Actions that Sony Online Entertainment may take against a post in violation of these rules will depend largely on the transgression. The course of action may involve any number of the following:

  • Editing of the post.
  • Deletion of the post/thread.
  • Closing of the thread.
  • Suspension (results in user being unable to play The Matrix Online or any other SOE brand game for the duration of the suspension).
  • Banishment (results in the user's station account being canceled. User will no longer be able to access The Matrix Online game or the Official The Matrix Online Forums).
  • Legal Action (I.e. contacting law enforcement personnel in regard to a threat.)

There's the rules, now you have a clear understanding of what and what not to do.
