I find that MxO runs better on my macbook than on my PC (which I built just to play the game).

It runs like a dream (mxo is the only reason I put Bootcamp on mine at all), but it's a good idea to have a cooling platform of some sort while playing. The MBP runs hotter in Windows mode as-is, but I've found that while playing mxo for a bit the laptop can melt your crotch if not vented properly.

What video cards are you running on the MacBook Pros?
I was considering getting one after Leopard comes out this month. The only thing is these have the Nvidia 8600 graphics card, which have horrible Lag issues indoors.

Mine's got a Radeon X1600 in it. I can play using the Bazmans' 4x settings and not see any lag... It's pretty nice.
Example. (Bonus points if you can find me in there. )

Heh. Odj wins... um... A brand-new set of 4x settings! Yay! (check your PMs.)
Kind of reminds me of that little guy that used to be on all the chapter banners on the old DN1 site. ... Anyway, enough about that. Everyone should play MxO on a MacBook.

Yeah, but you can't drag a Mac tower wherever you go. Unless you install wheels... Hm...

For an almost four year-old game, The Matrix Online is shockingly demanding when it comes to both graphical capabilities and demands.
