Well I learnt.

I macro'd perception shades, hyper sense, the resist abil, some clothing changes and the block tactic for when I get MKT'd.....

Then I discovered the macro only sometimes works - and sometimes not till 20 secs after I hit it.  Is this because my comp hates me? Or am I not supposed to move the macro button? Humbug.

It has definitely worked when I press it.  Also, my clothin macro (for when nekkid dancers need intants resist) only works sometimes after a while....

 grrr. is it lag?

im not sure as i set up a backflop2 macro yesterday at a party (for comic effect of course :p) and it wasent working no matter how many times i clicked the button, so thinking the macro was probably worded wrong i remove ir from the hotbar. That was a mistake im not going to repeat, after removing the macro i found that my character simply would not stop using /backflop2.

im not really sure why the macro would suddenly stop working, although i have no experience with clothing loadouts as almost all my bares are allready used.

Well I know it isn't the wording.  The macro's definitely worked.  Then I moved them from bar 9 (where I wrote them) to bar 3 (where I could get them easily).  Now I am having problems, they seem to not work for an undefined period of time - then catch up. /cry

it could be lag, but I've seen a few bugs with the macro system recently, if I hit a macro too fast it can carry on without stopping even when I'm not pressing the macro and I've experienced the problem you had.

the problem you described could be lag but then it may be a bug.

You know what, I came back for a month and decided to play properly.  I was gonna get clothing macro's, stat hack, refine my builds, look at numbers, and be halfway decent.  Now I get beaten up by what may well be a bug. /scream of anguish.

Firstly use /cancel if nothing works, 2nd post the macro, we can have a look if it has errors

Clothing is something which will eat your PC resources (ingame) when activated, you wont be able to change hotbars or select other things while it works. So with clothing changes be prepared for a miner delay, shouldnt be 20'secs but that could be because of the macro naming error, or another macro not finished etc.

Well, wouldn't work for most of today. Then whilst I was boredly waiting for DE to go away.... tested and worked perfectly.

The only difference? They never seem to work when I need them to (IE. as I am about to get punted)

Edited to add: this game ******* me off.
