With MxO now having an offical closure date, I think we should all take the time to say what we want to say to the Devs and players.

Rarebit: Thank you for 4 years of service, and thanks for being our Dev.  Even though being's MxO Dev may have been a Thankless job, I'd like to think at the end of the day, we appericate all you put in.

RedAlibi: Thanks for taking me into the Cypherite organization under Exigence.

Ebola: You are the meanest *itch I have ever met!  Good luck and take care!   I guess your meanest *itch is what made you an awesome Cypherite

Odj: You made awesome photoshop stuff.  SMILEY

Familia Grigori: Even though we are going to join a new MMO together, I did enjoy the RP y'all provided and the family-like atmosphere.

To Everyone Else: Thanks for playing MxO, Deving MxO, or whatever you did with MxO.  It was awesome hanging with y'all.

I honestly don't think we'll be able to create a community quite like ours in any other MMO, which is a shame because we may bicker among ourselves, but at the end of the day we are a family, MxO Family, and when push comes to shove, we stick together.

To Everyone: I said this before and I will say it again... you guys rock! I know that sometimes a few people didn't get along with me but I hope we can look past! It does make me sad to have put so much into this community just to have it shut down. When the lights turn off... I will truly miss you guys. Even the absurd reports that I use to get... SMILEY

There are too many names to name individually, so...

To Regression players:  I love each and every one of you (even Dezreki).  Regression had the finest, drama-free gaming community I have ever had the pleasure of being a part of.  All of you made MxO the experience that I'll always remember.  The Trust, Prophets of the Martyr, Prophets of Peace, The Royal Guard, The Revenant, Chambers of Shaolin, the Devil's Advocates, and any other Regression faction that time and old age have faded from my memory made the Matrix for me.  I learned so much about the game, the lore, and meanings in the movies from all of you.

The Trust:  When we first formed over four years ago, someone told me "You'll never get anywhere if you're not a beta faction in this game".  How very wrong they were.  The Trust was comprised mostly of non-beta folks like me...  lo' and behold, four years later, we end this game as one of the top Zion RP factions; not just on Recursion, but in the game.  Each and every one of you have contributed so much to this community and to the dedication in giving people stories to be a part of...  you all should be proud.  Not in my wildest dreams would I have thought that I'd meet such an amazing group of people in a videogame.  Some I've met, most I haven't...  but I'm proud to call you guys family.  <3

The Mega City Department of Energy:  My home away from home away from home.  I still keep my badge shiny.  Yet another awesome group of people that I'm proud to know.  There's a lot of bad rep towards the DOE that isn't really deserved...  the goal has always been to bring to light the truth, something that many members of this community did not want to get out.  If you look back now on everything they have said and done, you can't deny the truth, or the spirit of goodwill and fairplay that they advocated.  The DOE has never given a crap what anyone else has thought, and they've always spoken our minds.  It's an honor being a member of such a bizarre mix of people that somehow get along (most of the times).  And yes, the DOE won the game.

Special mentions:

Bindi:  Don't know why I'm typing something here since we talk and game together everyday.  I think everything I need to say can be summed up like this:  <3.

EndlessVoid:  I'm glad to have you as a friend OOC, and a rival IC.  You're one of the best RPers and community members this game has ever seen.  Much of my own RP was inspired by you, and Void has always played a huge role in Fenshire's life.  Thank you for the opportunity you opened up for me, and vouching for me.  I'm sorry if it happened to come at a time where I wasn't as active on these forums as I had been.  SMILEY

KnifeEdge:  One of the first people I met in the game, and I'm glad to see you back for the end.  I'm sorry for the suddeness of me leaving the Trust and dumping a lot on you back then...  but you did an amazing job with it.  I'm glad to see us both in game with the same tag over our heads again.  I hope you can understand my reasons for leaving back then.  I needed a change.

Th3ra:  Like Void, you played a very important part in the building of Fenshire's character, and an important part of my life.  You helped me through a very difficult time in my life, and I'll always appreciate you for that.  We don't talk as much as we used to, but you're one of the most amazing people I think I've ever met.  There's still room for you on the Devildog!

TIMMCAM, Merrit, Reposco, and Zeissman:  Without a doubt, hands down my favorite liaisons.

Vogt:  Thank you for the hovercraft battles.  Towards the end of the game, it was the only thing left that I truly enjoyed doing.  You're a brilliant dude.  And special thanks to Neoteny for keeping them going.

Ebola:  You'll be the first to whine that I didn't include you, so here you go.  SMILEY  Seriously, though, I loved having you as the target of all of Fenshire's Cypherite enmity.  Like Void, you made an awesome rival.  Can I write the story where I kill you now?

Sieges:  I know things I've said have bothered you, in reference to your RP and all.  I'm sorry if I ever hurt any of your feelings...  it really wasn't my intention.  I think you're an awesome RPer, and a great friend.  You've always been so nice and sweet to me in game (more than I probably really deserve).  Hopefully, we can still keep in touch.

Raijinn:  You ended up being cool in the end.  As MxO shuts down, you're pretty much the only SOE employee that I still have some respect for.  Keep it real, dawg.

That's all I can think of for now...  it's 2:45am and I'm getting a litty misty writing this.  Dang, it's so hard to say goodbye to this game.  I've met so many people and had so many experiences that it really had become a big part of my life.  Despite all our flaming and trolling of each other, this was still an awesome community.

I'll let Boyz II Men close this out for me:

Man, I knew putting Ebola on there was gonna make you other bishes whine.  SMILEY

If you two don't know that I <3 you both, than you're daft.  Even if you're from Method.

Mave, I intend to play my final days in MxO in heart boxers.  Garu, cybering with Pentagle will hold a special place in those boxers.  Also, I knew there was a reason I should've gone to Syntax and cybered with Haigen!

I'm so used to never being on lists in list-other-player-type threads that I'll go ahead and say something to myself:

ZippyTheSquirrel: You were a fool for accepting the Perpetual Fly Virus. How could you not see the shower jokes coming? Good thing you were so d*mn sexy.

TIMCAMM: Sorry. Totally my bad.

Terentia: Still miss ya!

Sieges: My character had a slight crush on Morraeon. I thought that would be interesting to play out.

NightTrace: 'Ey, fawk you, cubo, why ain't ya here wit us in our final moments? Banned ain't no excuse no mo', homie.

Return: Pulled me into RP, thanks for that.

GreatWyrm: You actually scare me just a smidge.

ZippyTheSquirrel: You're not going to be on anybody else's lists, you never have been, so I'm gonna put you on this one twice! There ya go, pally.

Anyone I forget I will make up for in future edits.

Bilbo Baggins said it best "I don't know half of you half as well as I should like; and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve."

Too many people helped me along on Recursion, Vector, Syntax. If I started naming ppl I would invaribly forget someone. so please, its not that I didn't value your help/gameplay just that darn lump in throat is back and the eyes get watery just thinking about all you guys and what this game was to me and i can't think straight. I gotta say some though:

Badkiity for inviting me into my first Faction, PS10N for game history and Macro teaching and pretty good Fac boss, Conrac & Cookie1017 for being at Tabor E when I coded my way into my 1st lvl 50 (much more than this too Cookie but you know already). DantecountZero, your dedication to learning the storyline that passed while you were a bluepill. Badw0lf you were pretty keen to learn and were in game long b4 I noticed you - university kept you fairly busy in the real we didn't get done all that we wanted to. Dulux, was I twin one or twin 2 that time? PinkPixie we needed more ppl like you that landed here and took of running AND STAYED. - I'll see you in Fallen Earth. Ajiing thanks for the help and friendly words and giving me a chance to ponder what this world was to me.

Pyy IDK but without your help I'd still be lvl 35 getting killed by Synapze777 & Manitikluniak (so I'm still getting killed but meh). RA2ZA thanks for the encouragement and 'lessons'. Tamuz thanks for the wise 'Captainy' words. CatzEyez its been fun running with you I hope we get you  to 50 in time. Cyph if nothing else will miss all those chats (even if you were the 'enemy' ) Arm0r, those Zion Courrier times.

Aamaxu & Matl0ck it was great to be welcomed into Hostile Takeover, if only we had more time.

and so many more

Well, now that the glitch kitty is seizing out of the bag, I can go ahead and make a long sappy post.  FFS, where to start?

I'll start with Zippy.  Dude, you should have RP'd yourself a shower.  C'mon, man.  Flies everywhere... That's just not sanitary.  Oh, and sucks that our characters never really had a chance at interaction, I'm sure it would have been interesting.  (Now you can stop feeling so sorry for yourself SMILEY )

To FG:
Thanks for giving me an awesome place to grow my wayward character.  I had a general plan for Noxton, but things don't always go as planned, and in this case it's for the better.  We had some great inner-faction RP that occasionally spilled over to the outside world which was always fun.  And of course, I've come out with some people who I consider RL friends, and that goes a long way.  <3 to the Family.

I think that what I'm most sad about with the end of the simulation is that Noxton is done, too.  I had some RP planned...  I'm still gonna try to get it in.

To The Trust:

What can I say?  You guys brought in a noob RPer late in the game and made him welcome.  I doubt I would have found the experiences I did have in this game without you guys, so again... thanks.  Hell, I didn't even know about the LE's until you guys took me to a weekly Zion meeting.  How sad is that?

I have all these memories of seemingly small interactions that I'll never forget.  Also, a special thanks to Neoteny for letting me bend my character into the bombing extravaganza, and thanks to Bindi for forcing Qui out of it.  Heh.  Oh and thanks again to Neotney for letting me kill you even though the final killing blow was stolen.  Heh, no hard feelings Meta.

Love you Trustees.

Oh, and of course Merrit... <3
