can i get some advise on vt and vd

hey is blackneo i need some help with my VD and VT

it just seems that my VT is really low and i find my hacks hard to get through i mean im a lv 49 but still hard to get them hacks through

any help would b gr8:smileytongue:

Min Character Level at 40

(Collector)

Hacker Glasses
- (Used these till I hit 45 then switched to the launcher)

Viral Deflection 20pts

Viral Transmission 20pts

Min Character Level at 25

RavensFeather
(Dungeon - Dannah Heights)

Focus +5 lvl

Viral Trasmission +20

Viral Damage +30pts

(M) Enhanced Hosh Chaps - Viral Transmission +20; Max Health +200 - lv20 - 50k

And the lvl 45 hack launcher (forgot the name).

I found that you can only have a max of 400 pts for Viral Delfection and Viral Tranmission. Check your status and then bonuses to see where you lie. If you are not at 400 for either, you're facing an uphill battle against other hackers or against other Operatives that have maxed out their Viral Deflection.

Secondly, don't overload on enhanced clothes or ability codes that end up putting you over 400 Viral deflect or Viral transmission since it doesn't allow you to go beyond 400 anyway. That is just a waste of clothes or abilties. You can test by loading up certain abilties/enhanced clothes to see where your VD and VT lie. Then you can load up other abilties or enhanced clothes to help make your character stronger.

Yup, 400 is cap. I always combine ballista with either code shock or devastation field. If you load it up till there, you'll get some vt and vd :smileyhappy:

Edit: if you don't use any awakened abs, besides hypers, you should be able to load it up till code shock or dev field.

The 40pts VT shirt helps a lot (Enhanced Tan Avero Pizzaz Shirt). What I like to do is double-stack my launchers, (one in glasses slot, one in tool slot), so that way I can wear DR pants and trench, and still have capped VT.

For best results with VT, you can use the first ability from the sim tree, oh whats it called transmit code? Anyways that adds some transmission, along with ballista, then down the network hacker tree the primary abilities for network attacker and vector add 30points VT. Thats how I managed to get 400points orange. (note that if you do this your pretty much an offensive hacker, you wont have alot of memory left for VD so unless your fast in PVP this isnt good for taking on multiple oponents.)

but you can get your VD above 400 in fact I've gotten mine to 500 and it does show it on the bonus list. Says Viral deflection (in orange) 500. If they changed this I don't know but once i get back home and am able to see ill post a pic with it. But i got to warn ya its one weird layout to get there and really not worth it.
