In a construct stored on a mainframe owned by the House of Forseti, the Provisioner is screaming bloody blue murder
Morraeon: :: Starts sharpening knives::
I have reviewed casualty estimates, from Machine files. There were locations our brief scan didn't take into account.I'm afraid the bluepill death toll is a little more grave...

Perhaps the Machines should allow them to get a choice in life. But that's somewhat beside the point. My goal has never been a choice for all. I'm not EPN. My goal has been freedom for all who can accept it. So you give the choice to those who can hash it, when you can, if you can under this Machine dictum, and what are you left with when they're all out? The batteries that fuel the warmachine which oppresses us. But they're not to blame - how can they be? They were born into a slavery they don't even recognize.
So their deaths are not my goal, nor do I believe that to be the goal of anyone I know (though I can't count these people in that list). And, of course, it's best to set code bombs off in secluded areas where bluepills will not be effected. But because the goal is to break the System, some bluepills will die. Minimizing the number of casualties is, of course, a priority, and the more that can be saved, the better. But so long as the Machines label the choice as a terroristic action, there will be no peace. And some death will be required to break the chains where it was not required before. And the thing is - they have the power to end this. With a word. With a whisper. But they won't.
And you don't even know why they won't. And you don't even care.
So don't cry to me about my actions, or the actions of a few renegade EPN members. We're terrorists, remember? We use methods which inspire terror in an attempt to achieve our goals. Freedom, not by permission, but by birth.
And yet you act so surprised to see "terrorists" living up to the title they were arbitrarily assigned. Perhaps you should ask the Machines to stop creating self-fulfilling prophecies.
Could you give us a number?

As ever Neoteny manages to talk more sense than everyone else combined.
With a computer system, it is most often more economical and efficient to keep the one you have, if the cost of updating its programs and software and eliminating any viruses which may arise is cheaper than buying a new system altogether.
However, when so many errors and malfunctions arise which render it unusable, there is most often little choice but to begin using a new one.
In practical terms, if the situation becomes so dire within the Simulation that the Machines' very existance would be threatened from within it, would not they simply reset it (with as many redpills as possible still jacked in), aswell as positioning very available Sentinel in the New Zion access tunnels to prevent the departure or arrival of any Operatives and Hovercrafts?
