Has anyone stopted to think that that extra 4 dollars a month could benifit MxO. I mean its more money, and i know its not directly to MxO but who knows, it could benifit us. The Vangaurd, EQ, and Starwars geeks could be building our future
If SoE gets more money they will have more money to invest in the Access games period. MxO is part of station access and Im sure it gets some revenue from the station accounts. I know it fun to think SoE is money grubbing whose focus is purely profit but that's not neccesarily in line with their business plan. I think there plan it more to levelage all station account games and to get people subscribed to the network. They have a couple of hot games in the works I will just have to buy the boxes and not put up a monthly sub for them.
Therefore, with each new Access game, the pass becomes more and more attractive. I imagine it's more attractive to the people who just play games to entertain themselves vs. trying to min/max one game at a time. MxO isn't neccesarily a game people go out to buy. I think new players are probably more likely on the pass and checking it out because they can. I have been really impressed by the game so far and am glad I got the pass just because of it. I like the other games too and find value in 30 bucks a month for EQ2, SWG, MXO and Vanguard. The offerings will only get better even if that's means price increases.
