One of my character is a female program, who is a tomboy. and for her to wear the women clothing in MxO is out of character for her. She'd either wear unisex clothing or men clothings. Is it possible to introduce Unisex clothings or at least allow the females to wear men clothings?
Yes, I can already see the slipperly slope of letting women wear men clothing, but hey if a guy wants to wear women clothing, why not let them?

I don't know about crossing genders, but I would like to see more 'masculine' clothing for female RSI's. The Squad Leader's being a skimpy little number is unforgivable, for one.

Tell me about it... -.- It's like the cyberpunk version of the chicks in skimpy chainmail trope in epic fantasy art, eg. Boris Vallejo, etc.

That and given how cross-dressing is still considered socially unacceptable (at least for males), at least in the public sphere, the ESRB would probably take umbrage and up the game's rating to "MA".

The only way to do this is by making new models from old ones - something we don't have much room for - and even then they wouldn't work perfectly.

I'm refraining from commenting on the note about having room for it. Basically what it calls for is new clothing to be generated from scratch, it's not difficult effectively it would just require two model textures to be stored within one unit item, the real problem is getting someone to code it, moreover your looking at stepping back on a system that's been in place since the beggining. The big problem here is that you want new models as opposed to rehashed re-colored maybe- maybe re-textured clothing, when in reality we should just be happy with the white agent shirt, or the red shades. Also they don't like coding new things, it's why we don't get umbrellas. You want masculine clothing - look really hard and im sure you can find stuff that isn't skimpy or froofy, it'll just look like crap, or be one of the new shirts that you need to be level 40 to get or grind through 60 archives for. ~Darminian

mmm.. yeah, pretty sure we arent gonna see cross dressing. I wouldnlt call psi a "tomboy", buit i would call her a serious operative. As such, i find some of the same problem, as im not realy into the hooker skirts, and dont really like the tight jeans and zipperpants. My call is mostly cargo pants, still sexy, but more appropriate for combat i think. But dont go nerfin my Squad leaders!! if you wear it with the right coat it doesnt look skimpy will have to get a screenie of my Squad outfit.

I was never a big fan of the buffed tiny skirts that I used in combat so I was really happy when SW jeans came out with decent buffs, but there are other options for normal wear. For example sweeper jeans and limit motorcycle jackets etc...
