Now that I have two 50's and am in "aquisition" mode lately, I was wondering if there were any neighborhood collector's items that are actually worth getting. The only ones I can think of are Peck's Shirt and Sparkling Fedora (before you hit 40 and upgrade to Sakura Bandana). Is there anything else I may have overlooked? I think the case might be made for Caution Boots (before you get Seraphims), and its a great stretch but maybe even Reactive Gloves and Taggart's Pipeline. Any thoughts or any underrated items I've missed?

Coward's Pants are pretty niffty EDIT: These are from the collector not very far from Hampton East, once you come out just run straight up to pass him.

Hackers: Lucien Launcher (Stamos), Taggarts Pipeline (Creston Heights) Guns / All: Victory Rifle (Center Park, ZOMG never go out without that one), Cowards Pants (somewhere in DT) Guns: Bedlams (Industry Square), Clamors (Stratford Campus) MA: - (<-- weird ey?) Spy: - (<-- again) Proxies: - (<-- there are no clothes whatsoever that would help directly with proxies either way, hacking clothes may help though) All: Pecks Shirt (somewhere in DT), Caution Boots (somewhere in DT), Reactive Gloves (somewhere in DT) As you can see, the only NON-Downtown item that is helpful is for hackers. MAs, spies or proxies don't have useful collector items whatsoever. I don't count the items for general purposes, though.

At low levels, Sparkling Fedora is good. So is Elmore's Automatic, which does a bit more damage than normal pistols for fighting Tengu.
Reactive Gloves used to be worthwhile, but are now worthless due to Quicksilver gloves.
Cowards Pants, Taggers Pipeline, Lucian's Launcher, Peck's Shirt, are all good to have.
Tin Can's Headgear is an underused item that I find very useful.
As for guns, Clamors and Bedlams are always good to have for serious gunners, and the Jonnygun is a nice stun %chance if you don't have guns loaded and don't have some Meson rifles handy.

a lot of the gear on collectors are well worth farming as a lowbie.. i learned this when leveling (still doing it ) on syntax.. i found that there was a lot of gear that helped me out.. damage gloves for MKT, and regen clothing where awesome against the Construct bosses and for farming.

Tin Can's Headgear is a kinda cool substitute for Beta Hyperjump since it has no level limit. So you get a higher level to farm the medallions and email it to your lowbie alt. Have your lowbie alt make a mad dash to the Furihata collector and grab the item. Although, I don't see how it would be of any use to anyone over level 10.

Yeah but its weird...I tried it on a lowbie after unloading HJ and Beta HJ and it wouldn't HJ for me. Another thing, it lists Jump 10pts and Hyperjump 10pts. Which is weird, like your supposed to jump normal jumps higher or something....

It doesn't grant the Hyperjump ability, it just adds points to it. So, someone with HJ-Beta can jump a little further, people with normal HJ, who'll have 10 pts in HJ at level 10 can make that 20 pts. Not really worth it, to be honest.

It's worth it for the novelty of being able to regular jump higher than normal.

Yeah, I wish more items had pts to normal jump. Maybe with a full set of normal jump clothing you could jump onto bridges or 2 floor buildings.

The Female Version of Egg's Shell, simply because it's a pretty hard jacket to find in that color, otherwise.
Also, Brightflash Auto is part of a Pandora chain, so that's a good one to get.
