Over on Redpill Rescue I saw GB was testing us out, so I looked them up.

A bit underwelming:

Leave a comment, maybe some of the GB will hang with MxO

Very interesting find. These made me raise an eyebrow while browsing the article:

"I can’t find any MMOs that they have taken off line. The great tragedy of MMOs is when the publisher kills the game. The game goes offline, and is never heard of again. If you didn’t play the game, you never can. And this really sucks for developers trying to learn from earlier MMOs. But SOE appears to keep games online, even when they are no longer profitable. They may cut support and development of the game; and they get a very bad rap for doing this. But because of these budget cuts, SOE is able to keep MMOs running long past their expiration dates."

"I suspect that one of the reasons the community is so active and welcoming is because it is a community of Role Players. I also believe that the strong community is one of the reasons MxO is still active and running."

Underwhelming?

One of the warmest reviews I've seen given to this game from an outside source so far, despite not even having heard of GB before.

I say your opinion of their review is underwhelming. :P

Edit: Found out they made MxO an MMO of the month with its own little forum. Check it out, don't try interfering with it though, I wanna see how far it goes untouched by us over-protective, over-knowledgable types. :3

Exactly. I was going to comment when I first read it, but I decided to let it run it's course and see what happens.

That's actually a pretty good review, it's good to see not everyone has forgotten us!
