MxOStory.com Version 2.0 is launched with an all new layout! Each section will include an RP-style journal entry from SuperJenius The Character. There is much left to do on this front, but at least it's a start.  I'll include some "teaser" tidbits in this thread to whet your appetite. :smileytongue: There is also a new section called "The OOC" which includes out-of-character commentary on events.

I hope you like the new site!  www.mxostory.com

So you made it.  You took the red pill, and before long you got yourself lost in that **bleep** rabbit hole.  Now, you're in serious need of a history lesson, and you want SuperJenius to fill in the blanks.  Fine by me, just remember who's tellin' the stories here.  I call it like I see it, and you'll get no spoonful of sugar from me...

Where do I begin?  Oh yeah, the red pill.  Niobe handed me one on November 18, 2004 (according to my calendar).  She pretended I had a choice, but no one chooses ignorance over answers. I was no different.  I grabbed the capsule of truth without a moment's hesitation...

In the Beginning...

How many redpills can say they survived a restart? I wish I hadn't. My whole body aches. This ain't your everyday hangover, that's for **bleep** sure...

FYI, the alternate URLs for the MxO Archive aren't working, for some reason. I've been busy (and lazy) over the last few days so I haven't told Symmetric yet, but I just realized a lot of your links lead to content hosted on the Archive.

Hopefully, he'll be able to restore the alternate URLs (I also still have another week or so before the original name should be freed up), but if you need to redirect your site to mine until then, you can use the IP address:

Very good. I like the pulsing effect.

Very nice look, and I've always liked your site for the story recaps SMILEY. I was going to say the links to articles didn't work but Stack pointed that out.

My only complaint is that the sound effect in the flash graphic at the top gets annoying because it happens everytime the page changes.

I step outside to find another antidote -- blue skies. Not the stuff of the little girl. No, these are much more vivid. As I stare up, the nostalgia is replaced with feelings of awe and a sense of calm. Surely, I must be dreaming. The Machines would never do this. It wouldn't fit into the Architect's **bleep** equation. At this moment, none of that matters. This is a beauty the likes of which have never been seen in the Matrix nor Zion. It's enough to bring a tear to this man's eye, and I will not look away.

A Piece of Blue Sky

Site Update: 4/9/2006
  • Full coverage of A Piece of Blue Sky live event.
  • Updated the Coming Soon page for Battle of the Bands.
  • Fixed MxO Archive links.
  • Fixed several layout issues.

I just watched the meatwadding video 20 times. I'm going to watch it 20 more. What was the deal with that guy talking? O_O *dives into website*

The person recording the video was listening to RFZ (Radio Free Zion).  The DJ reported that the "skies were clearing" right before the meatwad, LOL.  RFZ really did add a lot to the end of beta experience, by the way, with news reports from multiple DJ's around the city.  It was a great time.
