Construct Bosses On Frugal Tears

This has been mentioned in various non-related threads around the forums, but it's worthy of direct acknowledgment.

I've also mentioned this before, but in the interest of full disclosure:

Around nine months ago, I bashed the Sakura Tengu from levels 40-41, and came away with something like fifteen masks, and twelve bandanas. Approximately four months later, I spent something like 4 bars into level 40 in Sakura, and came away with two masks, and one bandana.

To the present day, and I've just spent three hours in Widow's Moor, and come away with nothing.

Has the drop-rate quietly been lowered again? If so, what is it officially now?

The same has happened in yuki one of my crew members mentioned spending 3 days straight and only getting 6 bandanas in the end I had to buy her a female one because it would just not drop.

She was spending a good 5 hours a day in there for 3 days and beat the tengu at least 100+ times

Is there really a way to fix this? Has there ever been a formula for the % of drops that it should be doing?

Well it is supposedly a 1/30 chance (3.33333333333333333333333333%) so unless arachers friend killed Tengu over 180 times, she was getting a bigger than 1/30 chance. Though that doesn't excuse the gender non-drop.

Yeah, that case is particularly strange as every time I've been in there female drops seemed more likely. I spent 3-4 days in sakura and got about 8 female masks and two male.

I hear what you mean E. We were recently in sakuras this past week or so on syntax and killed tengu about 30 + times and nothing. I had to leave, but faction mates stayed and then Bam 2 male danas, 2 female. Then nothing for awhile. faction mate went back. few days later killed tengu 100+ times and wound up with 1 male, 2 female.

I want to add something else to this weird situation with the sakura drops.When i got to lvl 40 on Syntax i spent like 6 bars in there..Besides the fact that i only got 1 female,i repeat,1 FEMALE there was something else too:1 purity dot!!!!!!!!

I have has lots of success, I passed on Yuki jus cause I was new to the game

but with Ashnecourt and Sakura,

Nothing but luck, I ended up getting 11 ashen shades and 24 masks/danas from sakura (as well as two cqs from sakura)

A trick I noticed or maybe its just 100% luck on my part is when the drops arent going well I log out for a bit (the game not the construct) then go back and try again and they start dropping.

But like said before dont expect to get alot of them. They are meant to be hard to get. They are some of the best danas/masks in the game.

Side tip: IF there are people already killing the boss, ask them if you can join in and team up. More people means quicker kill and more drops. The boss is always 5 lvls over the max lvl for the construct. So dont attack each other, help out. Not only might u get more masks but you wont die as easy.

Three people from recursion farmed sakura over quite a number of days. One got around 20 somthing danas masks, the other got about 3 or somthing silly. when i get in the higher 30's i'll be hitting it myself and we'll see...

Inhave a funny feeling gender drops are unbias in rare items atleast it seams that wau anyway

I recently farmed recursion Sakura and widows moor and the differences in male to female drops were quite different and my character is male.

Male Sakuras x 18

Female Sakuras x 12

Male Widows Moor caps x 8

Female widows moor caps x 2

Male Widows Moor Lenses (Currently 12)

Female Widows moor Lenses (Currently 2)

I had the complete opposite when I farmed Sakura. I had an abundance of Female items and very few male drops.

the thing i found with gargoyle as nehoe was levelign up was the closer to his level i got, the faster the drops dried up. i only leveled up in there during this time probly came away without about 30-40 wm lense as apposed to sakura where it was much lower.
