I just read an interview in Maxim Magazine with Val Kilmer, where he says that he turned down the role of Morpheus in The Matrix. Just wondering what you think it would of been like had he accepted the role.

A friend of mine used to work in one of the London Metropole (now Hilton) hotels, many years ago, and said he was a real arsehole to the hotel staff.  So, the staff spat in his food, put urine in his wine, and put a special glazing on his donuts.

I can't imagine anyone else as Morpheus...especially not Val Kilmer.  We should be thankful that he didn't take the role -- and extra thankful that Tom Cruise didn't play Neo!

Yuck.

Imagine if it was Will Smith as Neo and Val Kilmer as Morpheus... holy crap, yikes. Completely different movie, no thanks.
