Yep WB and Joel Silver are teaming up to bring Heman to the big screen. A live action film.

"Warner Bros. and Matrix producer Joel Silver are teaming with Mattel to create a live action He-Man movie titled Masters of the Universe, the trades report. The movie will make the second project based on the action figure hero, following the 1987 flop starring Dolph Lundgren as the titular character. "

I loved this show as a kid. I hope it will be good!

What is it with bringing all those golden oldie movies back to life?  Cant anyone think of anything new or are they tryign to milk every last penny out of the franchise?

I still would love to see what they had to do to make He-Man the next blockbuster

They should just have made Thundercats more than He-man... and yeah Lundren is not fit to be He-man at that time....But then again let's just see how this goes...

Seems like all 80s cartoon movies are going into production for a live action release. Next thing you know we'll be hearing about the Rainbow Bright movie!

Unless the movie features "What's Up" by 4 Non Blondes, it won't be worth seeing.

Link for those who didn't get the reference.  SMILEY

I never enjoyed the concept of He-Man. Skeletor was the only good part.
