Dude, it was a small tourney. Four rounds to the finals. Only had 3 opponents: SC, Idalia, SC again, GQ. Winning or losing doesn't mean crap.

Anyways:

a) You're correct, the regen is close. Seraphims have 20% regen, Mask has 20% HP regen -> 40% regen. Put on Bolster health with 40% HP regen, then EOC and watch your regen; it's 7-8 per second.

Sadly I don't have SW jeans on Recursion, but WM lenses + pecks + graywolf + seraphims = 60%. Put those on and get EOC. You get 9-10 heal per second.

The thing is, WM lenses are about 6-7 per second. It's not *that* much more. And the mask had no resistance so it was essentially just a tiny bit more regen.

But ummm what does regen matter? It doesn't have an effect on the rolls. I really don't see what you're getting at here. It's not like I was sitting on block and tanking.

b) You didn't even fight me. You didn't even make the finals. What is it to you what I wore?

c) The mask is already outlawed for all future ones of these, so this, like, matters, bro.

d) Re: hotbar. How can that make any sense? Many of us prefer to figure our own strategies out rather than being taught how2play by el Faction Leader (god of MA). If I have a particular tactic that I've developed, or a certain combo of moves I use or a progression or whatever, not everyone's gonna pick up on that. The hotbar also gives a pretty good picture of what abilities someone has loaded, providing the entry point to figuring out the loadout and a strategy to counter it. MA duels are essentially rock paper scissors, why would I shout I AM A ROCK?

Really, I see all this complaining about masks and Zion Hardware and archive rewards and this and that... not necessary. ZHF didn't hinder me from killing GQ, just like the mask didn't stop him from getting me in our first fight. Archive rewards are farmable, and a good strategy against MGF. No shields, no free attacks, no rolling out, seems like it's just "no plz plz plz don't make me adapt to something new!" Gets stale.

my hotbar is setup just for my tactics but i dont mind showing mine but some people dont like to show theres. i think pretty much everyone has there own tactics/combos they like to use. as for what was said about macros i use macros in interlock but they dont change clothes. bayamos is a good ma anyway so grats to him for winning.

its dosent matter dident cost me anything i had my fee paid just i know u were "asked" not to wear the mask before the tourney started then u went 1-0 down to sc and decided to wear it find that a bit funny is all have to see how u do without it next week.

anyway was a ok tourney bit late for me if im honest was to tired to care about fighting lol i did see alot of people there thou was a very nice turnout.

and just a fyi for any of the ma's dueling to watch there oppsitions health regan its very easy to tell if they switch to sleepwalkers mid duel and dont be afraid to call it if you see it. i did notice someone do it during the tourney but they still lost so wasent worth the argument.

Funny how the ones who didn't fight Bay are the ones who are complaining, and the one who did fight him and lost the finals already moved on with his life. Bay is an exceptional MA, with and without the mask. Past tournaments has confirmed that.

Since the day the Assassin Masks were given out they have caused envy and curiosity. 8ayamos only wore it because he knew that some people would flip out... so even by not fighting you, he was in your head. Tactics, it's all about tactics. I am not running any tournaments but if I did I would allow the mask, swords RSI captures and whatever.

If someone wins with sploits... umm yay for them? I was shocked to do as well as I did (apparently thanks to my ZHR) which, until Vos asked me about I had totally forgotten lol. Anyways, winners will change each week, we will all adapt to one another over time and things will even out. If you let dals and Aeo do their thing, you should be thanking them or running your own.... or both.
