Jake Brown seriously cheated death when he fell over 40 feet on to the hard wood flat of a gigantic ramp. Jake nailed a 720 launching off of the ramp, but just a few seconds later on the vert ramp he loses control and flys 40 feet up in the air and 30 feet out into the middle of the flat (flat part of the ramp). The fall literally knocked the shoes off of him. What's the biggest surprise of this you ask? Ten minutes later Jake Brown WALKS off the ramp.  Check it out.

Saw this and realised how lucky he was, Owen Hart fell from just a little higher up.

Another thing I noticed, he seems to be fairly short, was his height like that before the fall?

yea but Owne Hart hit his head on the Turnbuckle which broke his neck on impact. This gu landed pretty much flat. Suprised he didnt break a rib or somthign tho.

There are many rumours going around how Owen Hart died, some actually say they saw it live on TV, it was never on TV, they were showing the promo (which they usually do to recap the 'story' so far) as he fell then they cut to the crowd when it finished.  He actually landed chest first on to the turnbuckle, then landed in the ring.  He ruptured something causing massive internal bleeding.

How that skater didn't so much as pop his hip or anything is amazing!

Apparently he broke his wrist and bruised his lungs and spleen. Still very light for compared to what could have happened.
