No missions, no reputation, no live events, no liasons, and no more work on Rarebit's behalf. Make the org flag to everyone (including other freelancers). This is kind of a no brainer from a PvP perspective, but also incredibly valid from a RP standpoint. Some people don't want in on this war, and some people are sick and tired of all of the blatant favoritism and bureaucracy exhibited in every branch currently available to us, splinter org or no. Just allow factions to be formed.

Pls?

I agree. An independent organisation would be excellent. SMILEY

I would love to carry a <SECTION9 - NEUT> tag.

Would you prefer no tag or the neut?

But yeah seeing as i am part of a neutral faction i would love to see something like this implemented.

Perhaps this way factions can truly claim that it is them vs the server.

This would be cool but tough to do, mainly because you'd have to basically make a separate org for each faction. If the neutrals aren't on the same side, that'd probably be tough to pull off. It sounds like faction wars more than anything.

Very unlikely, primarily because it would require that every character in the data base be changed to accomidate the "possibility" of being in these "new" orgs.

Just not really feasible from a technical stand point the danger to existing accounts is at this time an unacceptable risk.

Plus not having a full time DBA to manage our database and do all that work.

Well, the database is our "source" after all SMILEY<img src=" />

That and the fact that if everything was possible and put into place, it could still backfire if not administrated properly and with the demographic in mind. I think it would hurt more than help if we get to a point where we've got 80-85% of the population in "Neut" factions and three or four factions remaining in each of the respective orgs. (both "organization" and "organisation" work, by the way SMILEY<img mce_tsrc=)

The primary reason there are so many sides in the story is for us to find where we stand as individuals and factions and how we fit in the grand scheme of things, which as we can see here presents us with the problem at hand. I think if having an independent group is not going to happen, we should examine what's wrong with the ones that do exist.

QFE

The story would likely collapse with every event drowning in a sea of anarchy (certainly on vector but probably everywhere).
