Once upon a time I had fun toying around with my useropts.cfg. But that goddamn fog. And I thought "Hey, why not 'turn' it off by setting it to 0 or even negative values?". I did, awesome result:

All these pics have been made with the same configuration, the weird colours depend on sky/weather/day/night cycle, so you will never be sure in which colour you'll run around. Here's the config line:
wr_fogfardist = 0 (or negative values, I dunno if that produces different results since every jack-in was different from the start)
