Sorry, compulsion. Anywho, predictions: Lots of Machines to fight, or the General gets stuck in even more doo.

The name of this mission is rather.. well giving away I'd say.

I sincerely hope that today's hot fix is set to fix something in the Merv mission.. because otherwise, this is by far the most difficult mission I have ever experienced.

I think the mission is great! (Phases 1 and 2, at least)

I was completely caught off guard, lots of action, caught off guard again ----> then I fell victim to an objective that said "Eliminate the Agent."

Yes, well, after about seven deaths... I have given up.

>.>

I'll wait until someone tells me they've successfully gotten through it, before I pass final judgment.

Great atmosphere in the mission, though!

I didn't have any trouble fighting the Agent(s).

Zippy, how do you kill a 255? That's the level of the agent I have to kill, and the main problem is that I can't stand the two bullets he uses to kill me and his regen rate makes worthless any attack I throw at him.

I just did this mission with MathalosVC, and he is level 30, and I only had to kill a Level 31 Agent. Not sure what could be causing a Level 255 one for Level 50's.

Well, I can confirm that there's a glitch for this mission. I tried to start the mission 5 times at different places (2 at Richland, 1 Westeview, 1 International and 1 Downtown), using my 50 level main. Every and each time, through the two first phases, the agents attacking me at the mission area spawn at level 255. As the goal to complete 2nd phase involves the killing of the agent, I sucumb at the 2nd shot without doing any real damage to think in finishing the mission.

In the other hand, I used my 24 level alt, forced to run the mission at Westeview the 3 times I started it. Nevertheless, the agents spawning are 3 chevron level 25 NPCs, and therefore soloable. So, we might need another hotfix to solve this problem with level 50 players.

Hm. I'll either run this on Sieges's brother, or get one of the low-levelled new folks in the faction I co-run to tag along...

For level 50s who have their XP at maximum, just run the critical mission on easy and you'll get level 49 Agents instead of the level 255s. Got $i175,000 after completing the mission and got the IS booster.

Level 10 agents when I ran it on easy on my level 11 merv alt... that's just silly. Please tell me that's a glitch.

I didn't have any problems whatsoever. I ran it in Richland, I have max XP, and I ran it on Medium. Two level 50 Agents in the first phase, a single level 50 Agent in the second phase followed by a Captain and another lvl 50 Agent.

I think you guys are making up excuses so you don't have to face the fact that maybe the General didn't make it this time. ;)

Nah! Voltio pointed it at the right direction. Voltio did it on easy without problems. You did it on medium without problems too. The glitch seems to affect only level 50 players doing the mission at hard.

Hm yeah there is an unexpected scaling problem with those NPCs when the mission is run on Hard at level 50. Until we get a fix in, if your team is level 50, run the mission on Easy or Medium difficulty and it should work all right.

So... we're supposed to have weak agents? Why?
