I just hope there's a reason to it, storyline-wise. Perhaps this is a failed section of the Matrix? Or maybe an 'under-construction' form of the next version of the Matrix.
I'm just happy with new content that isn't new clothes. I mean the constructs have nothing to do with the storyline but they are awesome in themselves.

That is the part that excited me most too, if the devs are confident on releasing new areas, there is no reason we cant get more new areas in the future.
There as to also be a folder somewhere with other unused/removed at last minute models of buildings and stuff which means it would be just reorginised versions of Richland or Westview.

If you jump in the pipe on the top right, you get teleported to World 8-1.

Sentiments echoed.. It's not what we've seen so far as they've just been teasers its the anticipation of what we will be presented with when it's complete and passes QA. The broken bridge, pipes and barge on their own aren't getting me excited... it's the whole thing and future possibilities that I'm excited about.

Very true indeed. You know the fact that we have a game with so much potential makes this probably the single most hopeful sign of things to come. I wrote in a previous thread on how SOE (not the MXO staff) seems to have ignored us. Ryu also mentioned something in a thread about SOE just giving us from barely to none as far as budget is concerned. Maybe though, just maybe this is a way the MXO staff is trying to make the game more appealing to the gaming masses and hopefully then we will start seeing the population rise. I won't get ahead of myself and say that great things are coming our way, don't get me wrong I still hope for that. I'm just a little more guarded when it comes to raising my own hopes too high. At any rate I do hope this will be a success .
