Hmm, now I'm curious. Does one pill allow you to completely revamp your RSI OR does a pill only allow you to make certain changes? For instance, a "green mohawk" teal pill?

1 pill for 1 specific detail of your RSI. So, yeah, 1 pill for the color of your mohawk and another pill for actual haircut. You have to loot them seperatly, in different hideouts. Each hideout floor except the boss' floor will have the NPC's to drop the pills, each hideout drops different pills. There are 235 pills in total to cover all the different changes that can be selected in the character creation screen. Everything you can change in that screen will now have a pill available somewhere in a hideout. edit because it didn't make much sense

well its not the bosses floor that wont have them, it just all enemys in the boss room from my understanding. If you are right though that would cut the area of the creston heights museum in half.... Also i think the boss should have a really random chance of droppin a totaly random pill (one that mey not even drop in that hideout, would be a nice supprise of you were farming for a while and one just pops up in the loot. And finnaly a question if rarebit sees it: Will the pills be tradeable or n/t and will they be singleton or will they group in stacks and last but not least are they uploadable (would make sence if there singleton as you cant mail singleton to yourself) dang you and your fast questions and answers....

And they stack. I don't know if they stack, for instance, in groups of 'all hair colors' or 'green hair color'.

What we have for you today is a little sequence showing an RSI Pill (work in progress) in action. You'll notice that something is different about the character after they take the teal pill. You know you meant to say blue. We're talking "toe-may-toe"/"toe-mah-toe" here.
Why not white pills? Y'know, to symbolize the loading construct, where changes to someone's RSI are made. Bah. I'm only half-serious. It's nice to see these things being worked on. Aesthetics are an important part of this game, and it's good to see some development time being spent to give us a little more flexibility in that area. Next: The ability to swap buffs on clothing.

For future quotage: Do we have to get lucky to recieve an RSIpill, like other drops in hideouts are dropped, or will we be guaranteed of recieving the RSIpill, like going to a Collector (similar to the Area K quest)? That'll be all I want to know about them. The Area-K quest has uh...boy it's been a while...at least one or two bits where randomness is involved with a drop chance, it's just that they're better odds, and/or with more potential droppers than say Construct boss drops, where it's just one guy in the whole construct who has a 1 in 30 chance of dropping an item, and half the time that item may not be the gender you want. I'm not sure what the hideout boss drop rates are off the top of my head, but they also have long respawn times, which makes it seem worse. The RSI Pills will drop off all the NPCs in the dungeon EXCEPT for the boss and the boss' roommates--so don't bother trying to farm that last room for pills. Generally speaking the RSI Pill drops will be split up among floors. A possible example is...hm...let's take the White Lotus Hotel dungeon. I think that has three floors? Let's just pretend it does. Half of the Skin Tone pills are going on the NPCs in that dungeon, so that's eight different kinds of pills, not counting male/female for now. The NPCs on the top floor will drop pills of skin tones 9 and 10, the ones on the middle floor will drop skin tones 11 through 13, and the ones on the bottom floor will drop the last three skin tone pill types, 14 through 16. Or something like that. Oh, and don't forget that the Boss and her (these are the Spinnerettes, if memory serves) high-level cronies in that last encounter room won't drop any RSI Pills at all. So say you're killing off the Spinnerettes on the top floor. There are two different types of pills that they may carry, each in two different genders. I think for the most part I'm going to set the chance of a pill drop at 1 in 20. So if you kill 20 Spinnerettes on the first floor, odds are that you'll find a Skin Tone 9 or Skin Tone 10 RSI Pill, either for males or for females. Now, if you're picky about which one, say you want number 9 in male, you'd have to kill 80 Spinnerettes to get one, on average. The hair style pills are all going to be in the Casinos, which are all the same, so there will be quite a few hair style pill types per floor (5 floors, um, twenty-some hair styles per gender? = maybe four types per floor * 2 genders = eight different pill drops per floor, ie a 1 in 8 chance of getting the pill you want when some pill drops). For those I'm thinking I'll set the drop rate to more like 1 in 10, so again you'd expect to kill about 80 Unclean or whatever they ares to get the pill you want. Anyway, that's kind of the plan I'm working on currently.
