This.

And if it were to ever drop in price other SOE Game Players will complain about there selected MMO's and possibly the station pass if you feel the game isnt worth the $15 just unsubscribe.

Good point about the possible disruption caused by the other games, however the latter part of your sentence (in bold), quite frankly I personally find to be extremely obnoxious.  With all due respect it strikes me as the equivalent of flipping everyone the middle finger and yelling at us to Sierra Tango Foxtrot Uniform everytime someone posts something that is not 100% positive or complimentary about MxO/SOE.  But thats just my opinion.  "Love it or leave it."  Umm no...there's a vast middle ground between being needlessly and destructively negative and being a blind unquestioning total loyalist no matter what.

You've been getting the middle finger from SOE for years, im not a fan of SOE myself but the enjoyment i still get from the game remains, certain members of my home servers community and PvP make up my enjoyment of the game, i'm sorry if your poorly developed recycled content is gone, and your storyline is gone, but complaining over and over doesnt really do anything, i mean look at certain websites about SWG's NGE it happened what 4-5 years ago? they didnt care about pleasing the players then they certainly don't now.

Your options are to play a game that makes you miserable or unsubscribe and save yourself the money, because nothing is going to happen anytime soon if at all.

To be fair, it should be free, and then they should charge you for stuff like Changing your handle, or Transfering Servers, or Transfering info across servers, Then they'd still make money but have a lot of players also, like what are they spending the money on now i'd love to know....

You know, I just thought of something.  Isn't The agency going to free a far as a monthly fee goes, or on some other non-traditional (for SOE) pay to play model?  If that's going to be the case, then why can't MxO switch to that kind of model down the road?

You shouldn't use economy as an excuse, Virrago.  Especially when in these 'hard economic times', videogame and MMO sales are actually on the rise.  If SOE's not getting a piece of that pie, then maybe SOE needs to sit back and wonder why.  Poor treatment of small communities can still have a large impact on your overall success.

I'm not using it as an excuse...I'm just stating that I personally see very very very little chance of any price changes to the subscription fee.

I didn't mean to make that sound like I was coming down harsh on you.  I love you, bro.  You're the only good thing left we have, and the stuff you do in game is definitely refreshing and appreciated.

Well, if the subscription dropped to $5 dollars a month you'd probably lose me SMILEY

I do think a small price cut is in order, I am GBP currency and the price is getting close to what I pay a Moneth for my 8mb internet connection and wireless with the state of the 'economy' a reduction or a cut should be actioned.

In my opinion seing as we are still paying the same as we did for the DEV team and events we should get them and seing as we dont.... We should pay that fee.

Guildwars is a free to play game and is currently developing another free to play title Guild wars 2...

My personal opinion free or cheaper is the way to go.

Yes but if there is to be no more MxO content and/or develpment forevermore, lets assume 80% of the population is gone after 6 months.  Then wouldn't the game be in a worse state revenue-wise than if the price was cut somewhat as an incentive for not only vets to stay, but even possibly new players to join at that lower price?   I mean SOE is gonna take a hit either way.  I just think doing nothing and keeping the current price the same will be fatal, maybe not if creative pricing or creative revenue generation is implemented somehow.

In these economic times................I can honestly ask.

Why dont any of you take a little bit of initiative, and try and find some of the old Monolith people, you know, the ones that created this? And ask them how they are fairing, and if they would like to once more become a part of the MxO family?

I mean, at least ONE of them is out of work and struggling, and might actually take you up on the idea. Then, you walk them softly into SOE HQ, and scream "WE ARE STILL HERE!!!!!", "now can you give this MF a job?"

Its at least worth a try, unless, the dream has left you as well.

Pill.

Hey there!

Well 15 $ in a month would be great. In Germany I must pay 14,94 € every month.

I just converted the 14,94 € in $ and it´s :

14,94 € = 20,15 US $

I really don´t know, why german people must pay more for this game. Because I think this would be really fair:

15,00 $ = 11,12 €

Greetings

With no active devs, and no new content on the horizon... MXO should simply be a free to play game like infantry online, cosmic rift, and tanarus. At least when I sub my SWG account I know that Im paying for continued development, I cant really say I feel the same for the $15 that I just paid to resub for this month.

At least if the game was free to play you'd see some more of the vet players come back and play from time to time to check things out.

I sincerely doubt SOE will even consider this, it makes them money.
