Ive noticed a pretty large migration from the merv org once again lately.

How come so many are moving elsewhere.  What would you say the org balance is now?

What affect is Rarebits new direction going to have on this server?  Will we see more people go for the fashionable tag?  Are people going to be pulled from these neglected splinter orgs?  Is there going to be a mass movement to the underground?

I find this fascinating watching the population move around and it seems to happen a lot on our server.

It would probably of helped if maybe more than one Merv liaison came on time to time, but kinda too late for that now.

I can't really comment too much being gone a good 4 months but there does seem to be a lack of Merovvingian these days, tend to be alot of Zion or Machine.

Ive always felt like there was a lot of machines.

I seem to remember the Merv being short on numbers not that long ago.  It seemed there was a hardcore group of people that stuck by him until recently.

Yeah, I've noticed a decline in the Merv population on Syntax.. more so than before.

I feel the Machine/Zion population is pretty well balanced. I guess the problem is lack of Liaisons, and nobody will really want to switch to an almost non-existant org, though with Rare's changes maybe we'll see more default to Merv.

I was just saying the same thing yesterday to Ricky. OH EM GEE! Theres alot of mechs! lotsa zions. Tiny bit of mervs. Bladepoint left :*( along with many others.  Makes me want to recruit more and have that much more of a presence on syntax. I told yasa and DC10 to switch but they said i wasn't sexy enough for them. SMILEY Hopefully more people will either switch to or back to merv. Cause we sure could use it.

Thats a lie. You just have to go mech, not the other way around. =P

It seems almost ritual for the merovingian organization to fluctuate from time to time.  I remember at least two other instances where there were very few mervs and then it suddenly blossomed again.

I seem to remember that happening before myself.

Seems just a couple of weeks ago when there were a load of Mervs. Mind you, I could have been on at the right time (or wrong time considering I was PvPing against them) or a LE could have just finished...

But yeah, definately seems like more numbers in Zion and Mech than Merv again. I tend to see more Zion-Merv and back then Mech-Merv and back although there are some.

Remember that time and balance are inseparably associated.

With enough time, the balance will always shift.

Alot of it had to do with a recently removed element of the org.
