I do not think it is an error, there were never any 3.1 missions
anyway. 3.1 is already there, but the mission were for the death of the
assassin events, the new mission I believe will result in many choices being made, for the near future. You will find out in due time.

No 3.1 misisons? Am I the only one who got those commando missions or
something? lol. What did you think they were about? Came with the 3.1
Cin, and similar content? Hmm, you do the math!

Hopefully this will quieten down some of the moaners, for a while at
least. There's some very good stuff there, a lot of long term issues
resolved. Sim bug, Awful animations, anti-code shaper spam (No more
flashing disco parites for me ).
Oh, and moving the archeologist to DT is going to be VERY much appreciated over on Vector

The problem is the 2.3 cinematic was the ones with the Commandos in it. 3.1 was the one with the Assassin dying. The criticals were for the 2.3 cinematic. Although I still feel, despite what we are told, that the cinematics are in the wrong order. They may have wanted to introduce the commandos before the Assassin was killed, but the way it was done and the timing, was off. But that's probably more a result of the transition and not of the original story time line. So yeah, these next criticals (if they remember to actually turn them on when they bring the servers up after the patch) will be 3.1 criticals but they probably are not connected to the 3.1 cinematic.

well i woke up early after going bed 2am. got up at 8am. all sleepy and looked on the web. see new patch with all the things comming
i new someone would post about it. and yey cant wait. im guna try and get all the masks asap me thinks. as long as its not as hard as the arc 4 box 
but cant wait. well done looks like things are picking up. with mods, devs, and patches, events, things might start to get good. lets keep it up. specially these events, and Hallween stuff 
bring on the snow.

Are people absolutely sure its not ment to be your RSI? When you watch the first Cinematic back, the one where the Oracle is apparently talking directly to you, its bares a striking similarity to the 3.1 cinematic. This has always been my perception of both cinematics.

Well yes, they are 3.1 missions, but we know who killed the Assassin's 5th clone. It was a red pill that wishes to remain unknown at this time =D And I still expect that their identity and alignment is going to be decided in an event if they are ever brought back into the story.

I find it cool that everything is looking cool for this next patch. Too bad I cant get to my computer till tonight. I just hope the servers a down till I get home. If anyone is able to get these masks tell me if there one time use or constant.

If your getting your computer tonight, you'll be able to jack in brand new like the rest of us, since the patch isn't in until Wednesday or Thursday.

I must say, this patch looks very promissing. Its great to know that you guys are listening to us because I can see a lot of "complained about items" getting fixed this time around.
The good ol flaming hands.
The gaussian blu... I mean HyperSpeed animation. 
The incorrect refund price for stakes, water, and bullets.
Moving the Arch over to DT where he belongs.
Kudos for this one! One question though, is the Halloween content available as of today also? Or its going to be turned on over the weekend (haven't gotten a chance to patch up yet).
