The Code of Honor... We've received a bad reputation amongst many other Machines, but presumably we get all of this attention because others are jealous of the fact that we keep the trash talk to a minimum. Alot of us recently have fallen away from mouthing off to the zerg. In many eyes, a kill is a kill and a CQ is a CQ and we do not wish to take that thought away from you. We all play the game for different reasons, but ultimately sportsmanship plays a big part in it. Or a lack of sportsmanship. Knowledge of the game pertaining to gear and loadouts is a must in order to succeed. You cannot be infallible in a random system, but you can increase your odds of survival through knowing the game mechanics. Something that every single one of us in Ronin practices is our preferred builds, especially until we're more than capable of handling ourselves in one-on-one fights and even against multiple opponents when the random rolls fall into our favor. I've personally taken it upon myself to tell someone 'gf' when it is indeed a good fight, and that's both when I win and when I lose. You can't win against everyone and especially not all the time. When the numbers suit us, we zerg. Doesn't everyone? When the numbers don't suit us, we still fight and when we lose we don't cry exploits. Because of our practice, and because we believe in the fact that practice makes perfect, we have been labeled as exploiters. I take that as a hefty compliment. The fact that some of you would accuse us of exploiting proves that in your head you've reached the epitome of your MXO grind and are content with what little you know of the game. Those of you who call exploits, you're dead wrong. If you feel that you're correct, please do me a favor and instead of accusing any member of Ronin as an exploiter instead CCR us and let a CSR handle it. If something's wrong, they will fix it and deliver warnings/bans. I can say with 100% conviction that we are honorable and do not resort to cheating to win. When the CSR determines that to be the truth, you may cease name-calling and hate-talking us. We all play for various reasons, as stated above. It's been said before that members of Ronin play for various reasons as well. We do not force our members to PVP, grind, code, or attend events. We allow members of Ronin to do as they want and when leveling the lowbies is a must, our Captains are very responsible at aiding new recruits. We do not spy on other Factions or Organizations as it's not in our interests to screw over members of the community, no matter how silly they might be at times. We're here to have fun and that's a priority... ...In this game, we serve the Machines because we believe in the Code itself. It is our haven and it is where we all go to escape the Real. Our loyalty to the Machines is sympathetic as our human ancestors, before the days of the Redpills, chose to blotch the skies and attempt to kill the Machines. We're lucky that the cold steel was merciful enough to let us remain and commit us to symbiosis. If only all Redpills realized that we need them as much as they need us. We could all learn a bit of grace from the Machines.
