Howdy all, just got a brand spanking new computer and was wondering how i go about getting all my info, such as mapblips, hotbar stuff etc. off of my old one onto my new one...I assume i have to redownload the game, which is no worries, as forking out a wee bit extra cash is worth not having to run around like i've got a bad case of the shakes all the time (lagg...who'd have it?).

Anywho, bare in mind i am in no way computer savy, so if anyone can walk me through how to go about this, that would be absoloutly grand-spankingly fantastic.

Cheers in advance SMILEY

If you still have access to your old installation of MxO on the old computer, find your MxO directory. There should be a folder called "Profiles". Move that to the new computer after installing MxO on it. This should have all your hotbars and blips, etc.

Or just copy the whole monolith folder.

Saves installing, patching and having to reset everything up. SMILEY

I do it all the time.

If you've got a bit of cash, you could always buy an external harddrive.

I have a 500GB one which has The Matrix Online on it. I can play it on any computer!

So once i've copied the whole folder, will the launcher and all that jazz just magically appear or do i have to do something else?

(Thanks for the quick response by the way gents, i'm hoping to hit level 50 for the first time today and would really like to get a good looking screenshot of the moment on my new comp, which would just be...you know...ACE)

yeah simply copy everything...even the desktop icon (though not important as you can copy it from the folder later)

then throw it back to where it was on the new drive and play as normal..sames a bunch of time.

Glad you got it working. SMILEY
