Oh, if I lived in the US and hadn't insulted SOE so much.
Anyone thinking of looking into this? Imagine: the MxO player community having someone on the inside on their behalf. The job may just be as an intern, but that's how the mighty Dracomet started.
Granted, they don't have any positions within MxO that I noticed (though Planetside gets one for some reason ), but if one of us could get the Web Design position... Inject a bit of sense into the SOE collective.

The "Intern- Community" one is really the only one up my alley, since I'm not a Computer Science major and it preferrs journalism majors for that one.
It's a long way from Arkansas though, and i have no family to speak of near San Diego. =/
I'm thinking about it though.

Grrrr....
I just wish they had spots for Voice Talent, but I know they hired a production company for all the cinematic work. >.<

I would make an awesome intern thank you. I think most of my coworkers would be tired of me saying "OHMAIGAWD" and "LULZ" lines all day.
And I am in LA...Hmmm...
Hey Virrago, do we have to be in San Diego for this?

If you mean the community one, you would either need to be in San Diego or drive there everyday from LA

I assume it's up to the interns to find their own housing, right?

Virrago, you realize that is totally doable for me.
Don't tempt me or I'll do it!

If I end up near San Diego in the next 6 months and under the rules of me being in the US, was able to work, I'd so do it But, eh, with the details and rules and boundaries and probably all the hoops i'd have to jump through it's unlikely

lol. I'd so do it if I was in the area, but the commute from Cinci to LA/SD just doesn't sound enjoyable at all.

I dont like the new site either, none of the jobs have descriptions listed as to what the job actually pertains.
Case in point.
"Game Master".
I know what my own ideas of what a GM are, but what does SOE want/need in a GM?
