Every since they fixed DE, only once has it actaully stayed on. Is there a underlying issue to why that is? more than likely, but its hardly happening constantly enough to believe its a major issue.

If you are getting this a lot, then try to see the repro steps of it.

About 1/3 of the times I die I get DE timer longer than 5 minutes. And once the DE timer repeated itself 6 (yes SIX) times keepeng me a bi vulnarable for about 20 mins. I died only once when that occured.

It is suppsoed to be that way. Always has been and MAX % of DE is 30% so u cannot get more nerfed. However look at my thread in used interface and you will see the real DE bug. What I call perma DE.

While its being fixed, lets make some changes SMILEY

  • No area chat while dead
  • while de is present the players pvp flag is held off (even on hostile)
  • All worn items lose 1 pt stability

Yes I know it may seem harsh but death needs to mean something imo, without the fear of death no one can be inspired to be the best they can be!

Then make all items ALLWAYS repairable like in other MMOs. Besides they lse purity already on dmg.

just sounds to me like someone wants a reason to justify why they HJ all the time, because i am fully inspired to be the best i can be without fear of death, so thats not true. however i would like a little something more than just a pointless DE when someone dies. but if something is added, then it will be even more crucial that HJ is fixed, because more people will begin to abuse it.

so i like the idea of adding more of a penalty, but not until HJ is fixed.

Death affect usually stays till i manually go to the laoding area for me

first of all I know Tytanya and she isn't somebody who HJs away from a fight, kinda rude to make assuptions on somebody who you don't even know so please stop before it becomes a habit.

now I like the first 2 idea's but the third one I'm not so keen on unless they made purity disappear on decompileable items so your not having to go to park east (laggiest part of DT) to get a bunch of Apparel Subs so you can recode all the others. I like the chat disability and the turning off of the PvP flag and I think if you die and you arn't rezzed then you should be held in the LA for about a minute.

I like this idea as well.  Make it so that you cannot immediately jump right back into the battle.  Make someone that actually has rezzer have a reason for using it.  It is faster to recon than wait for someone to rez you, unless you are in the archive.

I though the purity issue would be the most contentious, I certainly agree with the idea of making sure Rez is actually made to be worthwhile.... never quite figured out why a rez leaves you with DE at all?
