Since putting the collector from the pandoras box missions in the
hampton green hideout it has pretty much ruined the hideout for people
attempting to get stingers etc.. (may be more hideouts used in the
pandoras box missions which would also nerf other hideouts but I am not
sure I haven't played very far into pandoras box)

I agree with this, this does seem to be a slight problem with the npc placement. Even though he's round the corner from the boss, people run straight through the boss area to get to the teleport out.
Would it be possible to put in a teleport next to the npc maybe?

I don't see what the problem is, really. I mean, the people who are there for the box should be able to go through that hideout easily. Conversely, the people who are there to fight enemies should find that most of them remain intact. Obviously, everyone who's running through will probably do a quick glance to see if the boss is there, but if you're in the room camping him
a) Some people will leave the boss alone if he does happen to spawn that very moment that they are running through
b) The rest of them won't know exactly when the boss will spawn, which presumably you will.
Going through a hideout only to find that the boss isn't there is somewhat frustrating, but that's a universal concern with hideouts, not limited to Hampton Green Hotel.

Its a non-issue now that the initial run on the Pandora things is
over. I was back in there last night for the later trade and no
one was there.

When I run through a hideout, noone is camping and the boss is there, I usually kill him and his bodyguards.
If someone is already there, either waiting or killing I don't interfere, run past and say "good luck"
