HoverCrafts + Crew Enhancements

I remember reading previews for Mxo where the devs being interviewd said that at some point Crews would be able to get Hovercrafts that would give them more loading space and Enhanced Cranial Jacks that would act like buffs for the whole crew. Just wondering if anyone knows what happened to this idea and what you think about it.

i know id like to see faction constructs, esp. with the whole "item(s) cannot be uploaded" thing.

a digital drop in the matrix where i could leave stuff for factionmates, crewmates, friends and second or third characters.

The concept was certainly discussed and announced by Lith back in Beta but has not been mentioned since well before Retail.

It may be resurrected at some point, but I believe that it was decided that the idea was unworkable. This may have been due to the problems engendered by people switching crews/factions/orgs much more often then the original devs had expected.

It is certainly an enhancement I would love to see. Expansion pack perhaps?

I still want a Real World Zion where everyone is lvl 1 and you can own a housing unit or "Cell". Can be used for RP and Parties, Meetings, Speeches....etc.

Or perhaps a crew loading area where could up drop/store stuff for crew and faction members

I'd be satisfied to just have them put in auto-stacking for the Code Storage. I get tired of going to the LA just to restack all my code so I can upload again.

Going to Zion isnt stupid. If your a Machine then you can live in your hovercraft or ask the Machines to take you in.
