So as this game tries to patch I get this error as it nears completion. I'm also unable to connect via Station Launcher. -Vestaloyne

My suggestion, uninstall station launcher & MxO, then restinall station launcher... thats what I did, and shabam, I'm jacked in fighting Yetis

Try running the original launcher exe (not the shortcut) as administrator. Right click, run as administrator, or log into the admin account on your computer. Just for good measure, run a full patch scan (the little switch with the green light on the launcher).
If you're NOT using Vista or that doesn't work, I have no idea. The only other thread about this I could find came up with absolutely no answers other than "Lol, Vista!"

Oh i know. Vista's a pain. I just uninstalled station and tried to launch again, but it says it can't connect, so no good on that one. Also the full patch doesn't work and I get error code -40

Did you try my suggestion? EDIT: Of running it as admin I mean.

yes for both station launcher and the game itself. the station launcher tells me it can not connect and the game itself just says the error code -40
