How silly,  free to play?  gimme A break.  SOE would drop the game and put another game in it's place before they do that.

With SOE's rep of keeping games going, they'd be fools to shut down this or any of their titles now.  IMO it's actually somewhat of a competitive advantage they have.  I'm sure SOE haters and competing game companies can't wait for the day that happens.

It would be a stupid mistake for SOE to drop us, they should pick on one of the other MMO's like planetside and just replace that with The Agency when it comes out later this year ( which I read could be in June or July) Amazon.com is already takeing pre-orders for the game lol.

Amazon has it's release date as March 31st at the moment.

Heh. Yeah, I am not holding my breath either.

Actually, unless SOE starts treating MXO players a lot better by restoring at least some of what we have had before (devs, etc), I have no intention of playing another SOE game.

As I predicted for this year, the sign of MMO trouble is when SOE starts shutting down the B-rate MMOs on station pass.

SOE, unlike NCSoft, are pros at embarrassing themselves, so not immediate need to shut down failed projects SMILEY

Friends are what got me started with MXO and the friend factor is keeping me here. If MXO is shut down I have no intention of giving SOE another cent.
