Okay i just gotta know whats goin on here.  A while back AWR said
they were gonna have an interview with Walrus but then that got pushed
back cause Walrus didn't have the time.  Then they say they're
gonna have an interview with Paul Chadwick but that never happened
either.

Now AWR has been merged into MMO radio(for whatever stupid reason) and
we get an announcement on the official MxO forums that MMO is gonna
interview Walrus.  I'm not tryin ta start a rant hear i'm just
really really itchin ta get some more info on whats goin on.  Like
is this interview with Walrus really gonna happen or is it still up in
the air? SMILEY

Id like to know when the interview is myself, like so many others I sent a question in and I dont want to have to sacrafice school and have MMO radio playing 24/7 to catch the interview.

Ehh... somehow I doubt only they get the oppurtunities to interview people.

And I believe they do support radio's, they just don't want to give official support to one station.

SOE support AWR? I don't know but in my honest opinion that is kind of selfish. I mean AWR should have been asking for the game content as it use to be deliverd should come back so they won't be hosting a dead radio show. And not ask for support but just recognition just like RFZ got recognition from Lith (they get mentioned by the MxO team on DN1 and got their link on the DN1 links page, but not support.

But there is one thing I should protest against other radio stations. Some stations called AWR babies because they were hosting MxO radio stations too and they were still sticking around waiting for the content to be delivered. But *CENSORED*? They can't really say that since they had not been around as long as AWR, they had to put up with more time waiting for the dead horses to be revieved than the other guys. AWR didn't have a goal to look at anymore than entertain the community while the other stations still had to entertain the community and get a higher listener count.

Timing: Sometime after they have enough questions and send them in to our Marketing/PR crew for review.

Paul Chadwick interview: One of those things that got close to the finish line, but never seemed to be able to cross. Perhaps it will still happen in the future, but Paul's an awfully busy guy.

Why MMORadio: Yes, AWR was scheduling an interview with me and this is the same one moved over to MMORadio. Since this one has been in the hopper so long, they're getting dibs. No one's fault: Just timing issues mostly.

As representatives of other stations can inform you, I've sent their contact information on to our PR team for scheduling interviews, giveaways, or other events. Let's not bring the whole argument up here again, folks.

Yep, i'll vouch for that.  While I would have loved for Split Infinity to have been the first to get our hands on the almighty Walrus - the fact remains that ANY interviews benefits the community - regardless of which station delivers it.  Just so happens that all of the controversy with AWR/MMORadio appears to have taken place between their request being submitted and it being granted.
