What happens to the code of your RSI, or that of an unknown bluepill still in his or her little pods, when their bodies in the real have died and they are permanantly disconnected from the Matrix. There is code involved. The code that is your appearance, and which governs your every action and reaction. Emotion. Memory. What happens to this code when you die. Does it get returned to the source, and if so, what triggers it to do so? Does it merge with the Floating Feast and wind up in the preverbial bellies of the exiles? Does it just hang around? And for that matter, is the code of a bluepill who is deceased treated diffrently than that of a redpill? The machines can control the blue pills. They are physically linked to them. They know when one dies. That is not necessarily the case with a red pill, whose jack-in devices are out of the hands of the machines, and quite possible are of a diffrent design, with diffrent protocols. Where when a blue pill dies inside his pod, at the moment of death, a trigger is enabled that would take care of the remaining code, purging it from the system, the death of a redpill, who has code that also exists inside the matrix may not. That code may just... linger. So that is the end-all be-all of my question. What happens when we die? I have never seen or read anything that could reasonibly explain it, and I am looking for an answer that can be used as canon, if possible.

If the RSIs were left there they would be found and a police investigation might take place and I don't think zion would want the bluepills to be involved.

I would say that describes me perfectly...
*knock-knock*
Can trouble come out and play.....
