During an event, many things can happen. Some good, some bad. The key to it is always in the players who participate. Therefore, I ask:
- Do you dress your best?
- Do you participate in-character?
- Do you show respect to all those in attendance?
- Do you respect the LE character (or LESIG) present?
- Do you scream obscenities, SPAM or act crudely? If yes, why?
- Do you express displeasure, out of character, while present at the event? If yes, why?
- Do you leave, if disinterested? If No, why?
- Do you expect a prize?
- Do you dress your best? Yes.
- Do you participate in-character? Yes, but not during holiday events.
- Do you show respect to all those in attendance? OOC I do. IC it depends who there is.
- Do you respect the LE character (or LESIG) present? OOC I do. IC, depends who it is.
- Do you scream obscenities, SPAM or act crudely? If yes, why? Nevah.
- Do you express displeasure, out of character, while present at the event? If yes, why? If people ask for critisism then I do, but if it isn't asked for then I wisely keep my mouth shut.
- Do you leave, if disinterested? If No, why? Depends. I'd leave sooner when I'm at a small party then when someone has put a lot of effort in organising a big event. But I always stick around a bit longer than I want to, just to see if it changes and try to make the best of it.
- Do you expect a prize? Nope.
I try.
Yep. Both of them.
Most of the time.
Didn't used to, but now I do.
Never.
In Faction chat.
Yes, if someone is in need of help for a PB or something.
If I go through a grueling amount of time with lots of frustration, yes. I at least expect recognition. If it's a simple run around, chase this guy (The Owl bangheart event for example), no.
During an event, many things can happen. Some good, some bad. The key to it is always in the players who participate. Therefore, I ask:- Do you dress your best?Of course, cowboy hat, purple pants, and an extra large dose of the "blue pill."- Do you participate in-character?Do I have to?- Do you show respect to all those in attendance?Love and Respect. /hug- Do you respect the LE character (or LESIG) present?Love!- Do you scream obscenities, SPAM or act crudely? If yes, why?Nope, but what if a player's charcter was a jerk?- Do you express displeasure, out of character, while present at the event? If yes, why? What if a player doesn't have an, "in-character."- Do you leave, if disinterested? If No, why?Not if there's free cake.- Do you expect a prize?Like a box of cracker jacks my friend.
Of course, cowboy hat, purple pants, and an extra large dose of the "blue pill."
Do I have to?
Love and Respect. /hug
Love!
Nope, but what if a player's charcter was a jerk?
What if a player doesn't have an, "in-character."
Not if there's free cake.
Like a box of cracker jacks my friend.
During an event, many things can happen. Some good, some bad. The key to it is always in the players who participate. Therefore, I ask:- Do you dress your best?I used to but i like my PvP Clothes now. - Do you participate in-character?I Try, but im not great. - Do you show respect to all those in attendance?Yes.. unless i am attacked.. - Do you respect the LE character (or LESIG) present?Indeed. - Do you scream obscenities, SPAM or act crudely? If yes, why?Only the od time when the event is being dragged on to long, Also if i am anoyed by Trash Talk from another player.. or there was that Time we had to slag off anome. - Do you express displeasure, out of character, while present at the event? If yes, why?If an event drags on way to long yea. - Do you leave, if disinterested? If No, why?Again if it drags on to long - Do you expect a prize? Not always if some one is killed then, yes i do, I still believe there should be an item for each Org (E.G The FM1500) The 1st time u win an event u get your Org item,, if ur lucky to get a second one u get a choice of the others...
I used to but i like my PvP Clothes now.
I Try, but im not great.
Yes.. unless i am attacked..
Indeed.
Only the od time when the event is being dragged on to long, Also if i am anoyed by Trash Talk from another player.. or there was that Time we had to slag off anome.
If an event drags on way to long yea.
Again if it drags on to long
Not always if some one is killed then, yes i do, I still believe there should be an item for each Org (E.G The FM1500) The 1st time u win an event u get your Org item,, if ur lucky to get a second one u get a choice of the others...
At the beginning of every event, yes. If the event involves any pvp then pvp attire takes precendant. If its just killing NPC's then my RP clothing is high lvl enough to be fine.
In a event I am always IC, the only places during an event I am not is when tells are used OOC with me or FC / TC for instructions etc.
Yes, however that respect can be quickly lost if they act in a manner I would deem unappropriate.
Always treat the LE or LESIG as a LE character with respect and maintain IC with them always.
Never, and find it pathetic when others do.
To a LE or LESIG I never will, but if a extreme situation calls for it then (( )) context will be given in area chat to express my concerns over something.
I generally stay as long as I can, to this day I haven't left an event unless I've had to actaully log out of game for unrelated reasons. I like to see where a event will go, once its deemed over I leave.
You can never expect a prize but if someone did something that was impressive or superior to others then being rewarded for it is always good.
- Do you dress your best?I try to dress my best the whole time I'm ingame. - Do you participate in-character?Same thing goes for being IC. It's just more fun. - Do you show respect to all those in attendance?Usually, unless showing disrespect would be appropriate IC. Void doesn't care about most people, though. - Do you respect the LE character (or LESIG) present?Same answer as above. Yes, unless it's appropriate not to. I recall an event where players were encouraged to insult Anome in order to goad him into attacking. That sort of thing. - Do you scream obscenities, SPAM or act crudely? If yes, why?Nah. Not in my character to do that. Note that I'm not against screaming obscenities or acting crudely (though SPAM is always lame) if it's for IC reasons. - Do you express displeasure, out of character, while present at the event? If yes, why?I try to stay away from making OOC comments in Area chat. Especially during an event. It looks better when Rarebit publishes the screenshots on DN1. - Do you leave, if disinterested? If No, why?I've been known to walk out of an event if there's an IC reason for doing it. Void's not a "chase after that guy" kind of guy. He'll wait until the guy wanders into him. And then usually kill him. - Do you expect a prize? What constitutes a prize? Some tangible good? Nah. Recognition by those elements driving the story? ... One can hope.Though I wouldn't say "no" to some Perpetual Code Eyes up in here.
