Just think of all the extra time this will give you to work on that puzzle.

Comes from the following quatrain from "In Memoriam" by Lord Alfred Tennyson:

"Thou wilt not leave us in the dust:
Thou madest man, he knows not why,
He thinks he was not made to die;
And thou hast made him: thou art just."

It should be noted, however, that the linked section is not the entirety of the poem, and that there's a great deal more there to be read. It should also be noted that I am stupid at 5 in the morning when I've yet to sleep and can't differentiate "maddest" from "madest"

I'd guess it's something about the Machine motivation for creating the Matrix (and the new species of man), if not for power, then.

'Madest', not 'maddest'.  "You made mankind"

Hm... I thought it was a reference to one of the Psalms, but I suppose it could be either one or ( most likely) both.

So Zion's resorting to Wikipedia now...never thought I'd see the day!!

A fairly slow mission, but I can see lots of potential for things to develop.

Okay I don't think I have ever laughed so hard before when I walked in on the Merovingian guy on the phone!!! "Uh, call you back!" Cutest thing ever SMILEY

Tyndall says Niobe wants to talk about the situation with Mauser! Morpheus the sim is involved somehow, but when we went after him we just found that weird message on the computer! No one can figure out what it means, but Tyndall thinks checking out the in the Matrix internet may turn up something the Zion mainframe doesn't!

So we went into an office and borrowed a worker's computer! He seemed upset and first but then hoped we would damage it so he could get a new one from the company SMILEY It did turn up a match on the internet but it looked like just a poem! The operator thought it was nothing but Tyndall made a lot of connections with it and everything that has happened lately! She also made possible connections to Silver and wondered if he may be involved! We went to see Silver, but there were some Merv guys already here (the one who was on the phone also SMILEY ) who attacked, and a note from Silver on the computer telling me to get lost! I guess he was expecting us! The next message on the computer was funny too SMILEY

Checking the Wright building and talking to some workers was Tyndall's next idea!  One of the workers mentioned that there was a security alert a few weeks ago, and everyone was told to be on the lookout for someone matching Mauser's description! If that's true, and Mauser was using equipment from Danielle wright's lab in the real world, maybe we are getting closer to the truth! SMILEY

A fun and interesting mission. Nice to have it structured like a quest where you work out riddles to find clues just like the movies. Makes a change from just tracking computer signals etc.

Oh and Rarebit will you do a general story summary for chapter 10.2 and 10.3? There was one for 10.1 which was useful for knowing what would happen if there was a cinematic.
