Wow... very, very interesting.

I love the Intruder's voice, sounds like a Decepitcon from the G1 Transformers.

His remark about deletion raises sooo many questions...

As is whatever it is he's looking for, and whatever Morpheus has to do with all of this...

Bah, you beat me to it. SMILEY

Well now, the Architect makes another appearance at last! He obviously has a hand in the Intruder's creation, especially when you consider the Scanline crew seem to refer to the Intruder as a 'prodigy'.

Cool to hear the Intruder's voice. Evidently he has no time for idiots.

Pretty nifty, and now we know that the Intruder is looking for someone... but who...?

And MorpheuSim seems to think he will fail SMILEY

Have him deleted...?

He's probably looking for Neo.

Huh, I just realised... Was that really Laurence Fishburne's voice? If it is, did they get him back for this, did they already have his voice clips ready for this from years back, or have they re-used something?

If it's not him, they did a damned good job.

The Architect, I think, tells the Intruder that he's an inferior creation.

It's got to be unused material from years back (like the Mero/Persephone poetry thing in 8.3).  They even had a few unused Morphy voice clips in a Zion crit a few chapters back.

It has to be...that sounded exactly like him.

Agreed. The Architect reiterated the theme from the Machine crits; they staunchly claim they do not have what the Intruder is looking for. It also solidifies why the Intruder was hanging around the Heart O the City motel.

Lastly: Architect gotta eat.

I'm guessing they had a lot of characters do a lot of general lines in case they were needed in the future. Not to impressed with this cinematic personally, not a big fan of this combining game/hand drawn style. The slightly mis-alignment of characters perspectives verses the perspective of the in-game screen shot is very distracting. Plus the fact that the hand drawn looks far to crisp against the pixelated background.

Story wise it was kind of like a meeting with the Oracle. You hear words, get confused by them and before you know it its all over. o.O

Great voice acting by the Architect though, loving that.

*Laughs.* Yeah. He's looking a little thin for someone who sits in a chair all day.

And yeah, I agree the Intruder's looking for Neo. But why? If he's Mystery Man, he watched the meeting between Neo and Deus Ex Machina on his screen. What makes him think he's still there?

Prolly cause the fact and rumors saying the Intruder is not from this Matrix Version... Hmmm maybe or maybe not whom knows.

EDIT: Just figured out something.. Neo's RSI you know that holo monument sorta thing.. well given thats like a shell.... the Inturder is the soul of the shell it seems. Seeming its walking talking and living and speaking but is a wireframe sorta thing.. Could it be the Intruder is looking for a Shell? I mean could make sense in some ways. And the bold yet follish be he cant handle a merge to the Shell if it happens.. and given his ignorance... he may be searching high and low.. but maybe not good enough =P

The Intruder's code is a higher version than the Matrix's. I think any wierdness (i.e. him only appearing as a wireframe) is due to incompatible code.

What I find decidedly cheeky is that the Architect can teleport wherever he wants. If that's the case, why did the latest Machinist critical have us wandering around looking for the Intruder to talk to him, if the Architect could have done it any time he wanted?

I wish The Intruder hadn't cut The Architect off mid-line. :'(

"*CENSORED* you, if I thought that was a joke I'd have you deleted!"

Whether that was a threat that had any substance  (meaning if the wire-guy could actually pull it off) or not, is up for grabs. I was just surprised it actually got the cojones to say it. Still it adds more of a mystery as to what this creature's mentality is made up of.
It obviously has some sort of understanding with the machines since the Architect took time before to explain things to him.

As to who it is looking for is also up for speculation, although the popular belief is that it is looking for Neo, there is also a small probability it is looking for Morpheus (well the real one anyway).

P.S. To the censors in this forum site, you may want to re-evaluate what gets censored here, the word "dam" with an "n" at the end was in the cinematic so why on earth would you have it censored here is beyond me.
