I don't like the idea of the darker nights at all. As far as I can tell about the Holiday event, the nights weren't darker all the time, but only some of them. So I would like the idea to have darker nights maybe from time to time (like the sky turns from green to purple from sometimes), it would be a nice variation. I hope it is that way, and not the other. Because I'm personally not a big fan of those dark nights, they make everything look more boring and uninteresting. I really hoped it would be removed after the holiday event, but no, the majority wanted it so... So I still hope the darker nigths will change to brighter ones regularly. If not, I hope this will be changed more or less in one of the next updates then. Can anyone give me some insight into that?
and probably in the future every couple of game days the nights would also get really dark (i.e. halloween event )
no more lvling for me untill is update sakura for the win. hm so instead of every 150 kills....i hope its at least every 25-50

YAAAAAAAAAY DARKNESS. i LOVED the halloween darkness and while i can understand that it won't be that dark, i look forward to actual REAL nights, where the weak huddle in the feeble light of solitary lampposts or indoors and dread to walk down deserted alleys. muhahahah. etc.
oh, also WUT for the increased drop rate!
and new critical missions and cinematics (this will be the first flash one yes?) and all that jazz!

Looks like a good and interesting patch.
Nice to see more cinematics and critical missions. Interesting idea to spread out the missions over a period of time. Might meet some opposition, but prevents the sudden speeding through of them in one night.
Great to see a few darker nights as well, and excellent news that the drop rates are being increased again. Shame I can't use my oldest character to go back and get the stuff though.
Can't wait for it to come out.

Well, as I said, it would be nice to have darker nights as an alternative, like once a game week (I mean the purple sky day is usually time when I hurry to leave the game but actually it would look quite nice with some graphics upgrades and it's by no means a great idea). But having the dark nights just all the time is definetely not a solution. So here's my question again, will every night be darker or will they just be included into the cycle and not completely replace the brighter nights? Walrus, anyone?

Best part about this patch (that's not the new crits or cinematics, of course)? The Black Plain Slacks are finally black.

How can you not like Sati's sunrises? They're the best part of the day/night cycle.
And I see no reason why having the nights darker all the time "definitely isn't a solution." They already said it's not going to be as dark as it was on Halloween, and right now having nighttime look like an overcast, cloudy day just doesn't cut it. The nights need to be darker, especially for a game based on The Matrix.

Excellent patch.
- 4.1 Cinematic and Crits - Construct drops are better - Crits now pace themselves. So instead of having all 5 at the beginning, you get 1 the day of the patch, and then the next 4 get released throughout the days. I really like this. More enjoyment and anticipation, plus something to look forward to. I always used to rush through the 5 missions when they were available from the start. - Halloween Masks are now tradable! This means we can e-mail them and store them on alts! Finally I will have 7 more inventory slots! - Nightime now is darker! - Plain black slacks are now actually black! lol

a cycle of nights wouldn't be bad, except of course that it's always a full moon in mega city lol.
i really like darker nights, i don't think they're boring at all, they really make things like lampposts and the lights off of buildings stand out.
u don't like sati's sunrises/sunsets? :robotsurprised:
