Construct Movement Bug

When I go into Widows Moor, I can't use any abilities. I get an error message "cannot use this ability while moving." And I'm standing still. I don't have this problem when in the Mega City, so it's not my computer..

I asked someone else if they knew what to do about it, she suggested to unequip my archive book.. but that doesn't work for me. Has anyone else experienced this issue, and does anyone know how to fix it?

Perhaps.. the person I asked about it in Widows Moor seemed to have heard of it before. I believe she was in Misfitz.

I would say it was due to LAG, what was your LAG bar like at this time?
In the RED. Most likely the client and server were trying to
catch up and never in sync and the server thought you were still moving
as you were prob rubberbanding?

But yes it could be a bug, have you tried once again?

Actually, I had no lag. And I talked to MonkeyDLuffy, from RIP I think; he said he'd experienced this problem too. So that makes 3 people I know that have had the bug.. who knows. He suggested going to loading area and back, or turning off the computer for a while. I'm gonna CCR it and see what I get.

And this happened to me yesterday as well.. I was farming Widows Moor with Rifleman loaded.. I died, came back, and couldn't shoot anyone SMILEY

It's a bug I have gotten before...all of my hotbar attacks greyed out
and I couldn't use them anymore. Hyperjump via hotbar stopped working
as well but I could still use it via hotkey. I had to jack out
and back in to fix it.

I got that once in yuki ages ago, the next day it was gone, so im guessing its a server hiccup of some sort.

nope this bug has been around for a long time but has never really been
documented it is a rare movement bug what happens is the game thinks
your moving but you are not at least thats what shows up on your
monitor whats registered on the servers is that your character is still
moving do to client/server connection issues usualy to fix this you
need to log out and back in

Easily fixable but pestered me before i worked out how to fix it. Only ever got it in WM so heres what you do if you get the bug. I noticed that I alwasy moved slightly when I stopped on a slope. I got to the boss and a red player told me how to fix it (nimeity i think - back in the early enum days)

Jump into a wall

It should tell you you cant jump there or something and then you properly move again and can fire attacks

I have also had a friend, Plectrum, who was with me at Widows Moor as a
Karate Master that experienced odd bugs. He would interlock the boss
and then state 'What's going on? I'm just standing here'... But to me
he wasn't. He was unable to see himself in interlock, but he saw me
casting hacks on the Gargoyle. Widows seems very corrupted indeed...

Hey! I have a similar problem.. I cant turn around and jump. But I cant run, walk, or go backwards. I dont know what the problem is. Also in the matrix im in first person view. Is that how its supposed to be? Because when you first create your character its in 3rd person. I dont know what the hecks going on! Can someone help?

I too have experienced this, although not in the archive. I was in the city at the time.

I was disconnected from MxO at the time, although the client had still refused to crash on me, oso no matter what I did, the client refused to obey.

I couldnt jump, use chat, use any abilities, equip/unequip anything. A few moment later, the game reconnected, and I was able to operate as normal.
