Evaluator:
For the first analysis we will look into the enhancements of the martial arts. In my studies of "redpills," I have learned that this is commonly tested by way of elimination in a series of duels between two individuals. In fact, these tournaments occur quite frequently. I'll be especially interested in evaluating the reigning champion redpills in those tournaments, should they choose to participate.
The exercise for this study will follow the elimination style of those previous competitions. Those who earn a victory over their opponent will of course, move to the second round, which will consist of all the other subjects who were victorious in the first round. Those not victorious will have reached the end of this first exercise. This will continue until there are two subjects remaining, and finally, those two will compete against each other to determine a victor.
The subjects will be placed in a scoring category upon completion of the exercise, which will be organized according to the number of total victories. The top ten subjects will receive a score measured in points, which will appear as follows:
1st - 1200 points
2nd - 1000 points
3rd - 900 points
4th - 800 points
5th - 700 points
6th - 600 points
7th - 500 points
8th - 400 points
9th - 300 points
10th - 200 points
I have also considered granting 75 points to subjects below the 10th spot, which would mean that all participants receive at least some amount of points for volunteering for this specific exercise.
Now then, as it's been explained to me, there are certain general rules followed during the competitions that this evaluation follows the style of, in order to keep things on a relatively level field. One of these rules was that the usage of performance enhancing pills or booster injections was not allowed. Another was that the redpill RSI must be reloaded into the simulation just before competing. As I understand it, this can be done through a termination of the RSI by way of damaged inflicted by another RSI through a duel scenario, or by jacking the RSI out of the Matrix entirely, and then re-entering. It's likely that a volunteer assistant may be necessary to reload RSI's during these studies. Of course, the most important restriction is to note that this is an evaluation of the martial arts programs for the time being, which means that other programs outside of the martial arts area will not be used for this analysis.
If you would like to be a subject in this day of examination, please respond here with your name in the Matrix, and a date/time you are generally available. As I understand it, this network allows the use of an alternate identification other than the name you go by, so this will be necessary. Only one subject per Data Node One identification, please, for any redpills who may be sharing access. We'll take the volunteer subjects in the order that they volunteer.
Any questions or comments are welcome here as well.
Rules in listed format:
1. To be a volunteer subject, you must state so here with your name, or in a private message to Merrit here on the Data Node One network (one name per Data Node One ID). You must also state a general day/time you can be found in the Matrix.
2. Only items from the martial arts program trees will be evaluated. There is a prerequisite set of programs that must be loaded to an RSI in order to obtain this, referred to as the "Awakened tree." Obviously, all programs from this tree will be included in the evaluation.
3. The articles of clothing Panacea shirt and Mother's coat have been excluded from this analysis and future analyses by subject request.
4. Enhancements by the use of pills or injections (referred to as "boosters" or any outside weapons (sharp wooden objects, vials of water, firearms, prison mastery device, etc.) will not be included in the evaluation.
5. Subjects must reset the RSI just before each duel. This can be done by defeat through another duel scenario, or jacking out of the simulation entirely, then entering again.
6. Those who defeat their opponent subject will move to the next round. Those who are defeated will be awarded their 75 points and will end this first exercise.
