I read somewhere that you get a +17 on all stats when you reach level 50....so i came out with these 2 builds for MAs....Is the buff PERMANENT? or you have to toggle it on/off?
1-"Perceptive Fighter"
Before buff After Buff
+17
Belief 13 ----------> 30 +3 Toughness
Perception 53 -----------> 70 +7 MCT
Focus 8 ------------> 25 almost +3 RCT
Reason 5 ------------> 22 ////////////
Vitality 10 --------------> 27 +x HP
2-"Balanced Warrior"
Before Buff After Buff
+17
B 13 ----------> 30 +3 Toughness
P 43 --------> 60 +6 MCT
F 13 --------> 30 +3 RCT
R 5 ---------------> 22 /////////////
V 13 ----------------> 30 +y HP
The nadd all your buffed cloths and such but seriously....which built you think is better?
I would say the well rounded one, but maybe for a hardcore MA is not the best....
I dont know if the difference in HP and RCT matters.....fact is that with built 1 you get 1 more MCT and the same toughness.....if im getting right numbers......
The +17 to your attributes is the CAP you can obtain from wearing ATTIRBUTE BUFFING clothes at level 50.
However, right now the attributes matter next to nothing. With the Combat Upgrade coming up soon, that'll change. The only two attributes that matter for anything are Focus and Perception. Since we're due for another RSI hack(item that the devs gave everyone to re-do their attributes a while back; we're getting another with the CU), I'd dump all my attribute points into one of those if I was you. Then fix it when the CU comes in January.

Only 3 attributes really matter: Perception, Focus, and Belief, but
Preception and Focus, though nice you can still get by without :smileytongue: What you lack by having low Preception and Focus can be made up through
other means quite easily, but Belief is a different matter. I was once
primarily all Preception, and it's overrated, now I'm primarily all
Belief, much better :smileytongue: All the other
attributes, pretty much mean squat, but when you can absorb at least
well over half of any dmg dealt to you, oh yes... you notice a
difference in preformance :smileywink:

all this talk of reason being useless is, well, useless.
the bonuses to coding given by reason are awesome. i could code all
abilities at level 42 because of reason. reason also buffs other cool
attributes such as vt.
Sorry Cher, but your stats are a little off. You only get 49pts to distribute. I'll use focus instead of perception for my example(cuz i can't remember the names of all the clothing that buffs perception, lol).
So if you had 11 focus at level1 you could only get it to 60pts and then you'd have no pts for anything else.
Of course, if you wore a ravensfeather (+10 focus) and a sak bandana (+9 focus) you'd get an extra 17 pts in focus (17 instead of 19 cuz it maxes at 17) along with 9 for perception...even then you'd only be at:
and the max rct or mct is 6 from attributes not 7. You can hit the maxes in many different ways, but you'd be sacrificing good buffs from your clothes. So like the others said...just stick to distributing your attribute pts in perception and/or focus.

I could code any ability at level 32, i believe...with buffed clothing...so it is useless.

heh, at level 32 i was not blessed with killer clothing. im still not.:smileywink:
really, belief is where you should spend your points anyway.
as far as attributes adding to ct, remember that the combat system is
roll-based. that means that a fighter with +6 mct from perception only
has a slight advantage over someone who has +2 (like me, and im batting
about .500 in duels). heck, we all wear the same clothes.
I like the perceptive fighter the best...but the other attributes other than perception might need to be tweaked a little...aka no vitality needed cause you can get buffs from clothes to compensate...
