What level is YOUR VD???

I was wondering if i could get a marker on peoples VD, so i would like
ur replies in this format for easy browsing if possible please...

Load Out: ie main things like kung fu master/assassin, or if u
have just 1 main 1 then that pls (maybe your main pvp load out, or your
best VD load out)

Level: wat level your character is

VD: wat your VD is

Buffs: how you are gaining your VD eg focus/clothes/awakened
etc..(this can be found in-game by pressing P, then clicking on the
Bonus tab and scrolling down to find 'Viral Deflection', then opening
out the drop down list)

so here is mine..

Load Out: Assassin

Level: 36

VD: 207 pts

Buffs: Awakened/Focus/Higenicap/Enhanced Black Machello Suit and Tie (i think)

My maximum Viral Deflection is 400*.

However, since VD caps at approximately 450 in combat (sometimes less, sometimes more), I usually keep it at 400* as to free up some memory slots for extra moves. SMILEY

The best way to get VD is to dive into the Viral trees.

Resist Viruses, Resist Infection, Resist Contagion all boost VD significantly. If I recall correctly, all three combined (and leveled up) boost you by 240pts.

In PvP its more than worth the sacrifice of those memory slots.

yer but wat pisse...annoyes me most is the fact that i dont want to
sacrifice those slots and can't see why i should be made to just cos i
didnt pick hacker. i want to be MA and assassin, y should i be made to
invest in a totally new tree just so i can survive in the **bleep** game and
take more than 2 steps w/o getting totally owned by sum hacker 10 lvls
below me? it actually wrecks the whole game for me. and it really needs
to be fixed HINT HINT DEVS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How much damage hurts a hacker when an operative is max melee/range damage?

It hurts them just as much.

Mixing and Matching Abilities and using gear to assist it is how the team want you to play the game.

Its nearly a Paper Rock Scissors system where you have to dig into the other tree to fight them.

yes true about the max melee damage, but im assuming you are too low
level to have come across the mighty stun which lasts a stupidly
riduculous 30 secs. this is the only reason we are being forced to max
out VD. if this was balanced like they are supposed to do in MMO's then
we wud all be fine. and the reason i dont want to "Mix and Match
Abilities" is because then i cant use the best of my chosen tree and
have to suffer medium performance in both trees, therefore not doing
anywhere near as good with either. So dont start telling people to s0d
off to other games until you have the bigger picture insight. the fact
is if you want to pvp then u need to max out VD and it shouldn't be
like this because this rips apart the whole point of different player
classes. i just think the devs shouldv picked up on this by now cos it
has been a problem for ages.

With the current memory settings its nearly impossible to have multiple tree combinations unless they are in the same trunk.

Therefore you can't be a Master Assassin and Kungfu Grandmaster at the same time like we could back in beta. But that also means you cant be a Ballista and a Master Shadow either. Everyone is limited, therefore there is balance.

My only advice is to know your enemy. If you can exploit their weaknesses, then victory is yours.

i am a master knife thrower with master assasin loaded ,and i use 1 of the viral deflect that give 80pts on the hacker tree ,and below is the clothing i use to give me max 400 VD keep in mind that i had to sacrifice certain awakened abilities and i have almost no dodge....below are the clothing i use when i go as assasin or knifer

coat :- enhanced dark cyan misene panel trench highcollar , min level 24

upgrades :-

viral deflection (32pts)

melee damage (12pts)

health regen rate (20%)

shirt : - enhanced dark brown long sleeve T-shirt , min level 24

upgrades :-

health regen rate (20%)

viral deflection (20pts)

melee damage (12pts)

ranged combat tactics (9pts)

pants:- enhanced olive drab arasiki leather pants , min level 32

upgrades :-

health regen rate (20%)

max health (200pts)

viral deflection (20pts)

melee damage (12pts)

sitting health regen rate (2%)

shoes:- enhanced hosh riding boots , min level 16

upgrades :-

viral deflection (12pts)

melee damage (7pts)

health regen rate (12%)

and u will need a sakura ninja bandanna (50 viral deflection) and hacker glasses (20 viral deflection) u can get that from a collector called mikah from edgewater central , downtown , u will need 18 rat tails.

this works for me.... good luck

thanks a lot, for once some constructive help instead of "load this,
load that" "you need to load the hacker tree" (even tho i cant cos i
dont have the memory space) and all that crap. Oh and "there is
balance, im a hacker and i have to load all the hacker trees to get
good VD" argh! your still in your chosen class garu, thats my point, i
wanna be an assassin so i need a different way of getting max VD, and
thats rare, and my other gripe was that there wasnt balance because you
have to look for ways to max VD, you should be trying to balance ways
of getting lots of VD AND some dodge for example, but anyway, i wont
get anywhere arguing and i'll offende people so i'll shut up lol

well, if you're not level 50 then yeah you wont have enough memory space to load it but once you hit 50 then atleast you have an idea on what to load and what to wear... good luck

CLAUDIUS is right. Once you hit 50, you will have all the memory you need for maximum Viral Deflection using the hacker tree.

BTW, I'm not a hacker at all.

I'm a Karate Grandmaster/Kungfu Grandmaster/Master Assassin/Master Knife Thrower/Master Shadow/Upgrade Master

I have maximum deflection with each of those trees.

I also have a level 40 alt, so I know how limited the memory can be at that level. That's why I don't PvP with her yet, LOL.
