The Machine mission implied the Intruder is tall. So I think either the Agents that were ported in to deal with him were extra tall by design, or that was the only mistake in the cinematic.

A guy in the Zion mission said he was 7 or 8 feet tall.

Aaaaages ago I remember I was talking to someone I randomly met on the monument (yes that far back that you could randomly meet someone) and they said that Neo would appear out of the door. Just like anyone else would I dismissed it as some random n00b being up himself/herself but considering a tiny bit of a message from Morpheus (sim) was picked up by someone random and later led to tracking down the Morpheus (sim) thought it best to mention. *shrug*
Coincedence?

I seem to remember the Bag Lady talking about something big hyperjumping around in Moriah Projects more than a year ago...

OOC: I don't know what to make of this one, not sure what it all means just yet (my green tea hasn't kicked in yet), but... I like this. Not sure who or what Wireframe Dude is, but I'm very curious now. Anyone else notice the small glowing spots along the chakra points in his body? Very cool touch!

I'll admit, I'd be a bit dismayed if this turned out to be Neo come back, but if they can offer a darn good explanation, I doubt I'd jump ship on it.

IC: Dangit. I wish I wasn't stuck in the Real, recovering from having a sentient toxin and an Exile extracted from my head. This makes me want to drag myself into the Matrix to find out just what the yell is going on? I got chills the moment I first saw the recon on the Ascension Monument. And just who *IS* that?

"Do not resist, you are required?"

  1. You are required not to resist and to follow what is said.
  2. You are not to resist, you are needed for something?
Just two intereptations Ive thought of.

Mm, I thought of something along the lines of #2 when I first saw the cinematic. A Machine program that went rogue and is either being reprogrammed or Exiled?

The guy in the Zion mission was also a little off his rocker, as evidenced by the operator's comment, "Why is it always the crazy hicks or the nutjobs that see this stuff?"

I was thinking that the Agent was going to say more but the man cut him off mid sentence. Also, forget white dandruff for end of chapter award FX.. I want wireframe mode!

Uh oh.  Some Linux user found a way in to the Matrix.  Crap.

What the Agent said was a little confusing. The subtitle implies that the Agent was cut off mid-sentence, and was going to say something like: 'You are required to submit for interrogation.' But the voice pronounced it as if it was a complete sentence: 'You are required.'

Poor voice acting, or is the Intruder actually required?

It's most likely the same bald guy from the other cinematics.

The first thing I thought when he appeared was "Holy crap that's an aura from CoH! He's at least level 30."

A few things and then the EPN guys can start yelling at me.

If it's Neo, I seriously doubt he would remember the guy he was or what's his purpose now. If you noticed in the cinematic when he arrives at the base of the monument (before the Agents arrive) he appears to be thinking, perhaps trying to recollect?

Two clues from the cinematic for me was the name of the location and the Agents responses. Ascension Monument, and the "Do not resist, you are required."  Perhaps it is Neo in a higher form created by the Machines (The Architect to be specific).

His attack on the Agents would tell me that if this "experiment" was made by the Architect, then it is obviously failed.

Another thing I thought of as I wrote this. Could it be a copy of Neo? Maybe in the same fashion as Smith?

Neo entered the system before without 'jacking in' perhaps he did it again...or even his memory has always been here, its just had no body (other than the Sarah Edmontons idea)

*shrugs* just some ideas.
